Do we think the Ravens can beat the Bengals in 2 weeks?

Ravens have homefield advantage which helps however the Ravens may have nothing to play for. And obviously the Bengals need to keep pace with us.

Bengals have typically held an edge over the Ravens. But AJ Green is supposedly hurt.

I say right now I have it 65/35 in favor of the Bengals.

Ravens winning would do us a HUGE favor in the race for the AFCN.

Green absolutely destroyed the Ravens in the first meeting. From what I've heard, he won't be back in time for the game against Baltimore. The Ravens definitely have a shot, but I agree that the Bengals should be favored.

I'm guessing the Steelers will need to sweep the Bengals this season to win the division, but it would be nice if they got a little help and didn't have to win Week 17.

Ravens will want to beat the Bengals after what happened last year in week 17. Bengals knocked them out of the playoffs and allowed the Bills to go for the first time since '99.

Also on the plus side, Harbs may be coaching for his life. So he may have a strong interest in winning.

The Ravens have a bye week this week and will be 4-5 going into that game behind the Bengals who will probably be 5-4 after losing to the Saints. So why would the Ravens have nothing to play for?? They will still very much be in the wildcard race if anything. I think the Bengals will lose their next 2 games to both the Saints and at Baltimore and that will put them both to 5-5. So if the Steelers beat Carolina on Thursday and win in Jacksonville the same day the Bengals and Ravens play and improve to 7-2-1 the division race is over. I been pretty spot on with my predictions this last month or so with the schedule so I expect all that to happen just the way I said.

If that's the case, then the ravens get a major advantage

Even though the Bengals have beaten the ravens 3 outta the last 5 years in Baltimore... The Ravens are going to be PISSED off about their last two home defeats and 4/5...
Yeah they will have nothing to play for, but hey maybe they can help us out here.. So I am saying Baltimore exacts revenge.

I don't see Balt being more anything better than an 8-8 team. I have my doubts that Cincy is either, though they have 2games with Cle and one with Oak. But even if Cincy gets to 9-7, and doubt they're better than that. The Steelers going 4-4 the rest of the way would take the division.

Basically, if Pit beats Cincy- they'll win the division. If they haven't done it already by the time that game rolls around.

I wonder if it comes down to week 17 and the Bengals beat us in the Burgh for division would their fans consider it a playoff win since they have not had one in like a gazillion years.

I think the Steelers win against Carolina and at Jacksonville and get to 7-2-1 and the Bengals lose their next 2 games to the Saints at home and at Baltimore and both the Ravens and Bengals will both be 5-5. At that point the division will all be locked up if that indeed does happen. The Bengals or Ravens won’t be able to make up being 3 games behind the Steelers with 6 games left to play. So the bottom line is if the Steelers win their next 2 games against Carolina and the Jags and the Bengals lose their next 2 games this division race is all but over.

Put a fork in the rats they are done, the best they can do is 8-8, more likely though they will go 7-9, they are old and have been showing their age as the season has progressed and has exposed them wearing down each week, they gave up any home field advantage they had with their last two home losses, their next 4 losses will be the bengals, falcons, chiefs, and chargers....

I disagree with OP, the Ravens are still in the playoff hunt and have something to play for. The Ravens will be coming off a bye, and the Bengals won't have Green I like the Ravens chances of winning this game.

I think the Ravens are about to start to implode. Followed by a house cleaning at the end of the season.

Amazing what a loss to the Steelers does to opposing teams. Stains lose to us and fire their HC and OC. Right after the ratbirds loss to us they're talking of cleaning the entire house (harbough, ozzie, coordinators, everyone)

    Sheesh

Not to beat a dead horse, but Steelers should have been drafting defensive players, years ago, to stop the Patriots offense. They have failed miserably in this department.

Wouldn’t we have lost but just by less points each. If we had drafted more D we would have less O?

Several teams were successful over the years in defeating the Patriots... including our arch-rivals, the Ravens. They had enough offense to win a Super Bowl more recently than the Steelers have.

What is Heinz going to talk about after the Steelers defeat the Cheats? Will he jump on the bandwagon & say we have enough on defense to be the champs?
