This could just make the Saints ridiculous. Before you knock the move, remember, this is Drew Brees throwing him the football in a much more prolific offense than Dak Prescott and the Cowboys. Unlike our jet skiing, stripper club attendee, Dez actually has been keeping himself in top shape. Will take some games to get into football shape and pick up the playbook but I think he will be a tremendous redzone threat for them. Guy knows how to go up and get the ball.

Hard to believe Saints would want this type on that team.? Wait till he goes off on one of his tirades with Brees

    Should be interesting. No thanks.

I only recall one bad sideline tirade by Bryant. AB has had a few sideline blowups, RIP poor water cooler :icon cry:

Definitely worth the gamble for the Saints. Better run organization than Dallas, better culture, Bryant older, could be past all that nonsense.

Several teams reached out to him, wonder if the Steelers were one. 3rd WR spot isn't exactly performing real well here.

The league's top offense just got another weapon.

He would have looked great in Black and Gold. We desperately need a 3rd WR. Hunter and Washington are just bodies at this point. We have zero deep threat.

Did we even consider bringing in Dez for a 1 year contract?

Care to explain why you'd pass? Dez Bryant for a 1 year vet minimum on a team with SB aspirations who has literally NO ONE at WR3?

We put up with Martivis' BS for years. Dez couldn't be worse for 1 year vet min.

What drama do we have currently on the Steelers? The only drama I can think of relates to Bell, who isn't a member of the Steelers - he's not even listed on the roster.

We are missing a deep threat. Washington hasn't panned out yet.

They need to tighten up that Defense.

The drama that we call AB. He’s already not getting the catches he wants. How do you think he would respond to a signing like that?

Currently yes. Weeks 1-4 different story. Winning keeps the drama down. I really don't think Bryant would have been needed to be successful. Let's see what the young guys can do. I still have hope Washington will figure it out. We got really spoiled with JuJu hitting the ground running in his rookie year, so I'm afraid exceptions for Washington were high by the fan base, being that his pre-season looked great. But, he's struggled to adapt so far this regular season.

Surely you're being sarcastic right. After week 1 we haven't heard anything from AB. He's not getting 10 catches a game but he has 9 TDs already...

Less “another weapon” and more an attempt to shore up a relatively thin Saints receiving corps, who despite the offense’s success have been fairly quiet aside from Thomas, especially with Ginn injured.

A 6'2 220 pound 3x Pro Bowl receiver with 73 career receiving TDs who just signed for vet min with the New Orleans Saints.

People said the same thing about Joe Haden. He's turned out OK for us.

Haden is a much better CB, than Bryant is a WR. Apples and Oranges. Look no further than Bryant's last few years with the Cowboys. He didn't set the world on fire by any stretch. I'd rather have MARTAVIS Bryant back.

Tell me with a straight face that you think Justin Hunter and James Washington are more productive WR3s than Dez Bryant.

Actually I would be willing to bet that Dez outperforms them once he starts playing for the Saints. Care to wager?
