    No harm no foul.

They will need the extra rest indeed. Tomorrow is going to be tough for certain.

I don't really knock them for it, Im not worried about AB but we know how Ben is. He's banged up though and just played a very physical contest, so I understand it.

I would certainly rest them. What benefit would there be for either of these guys on a short week. I'm old school and love the contact of football, but I would certainly have a mild "week" of practice this week. I'll sit back on my couch now that I have instructed the coaches on how to coach!

Especially if they plan to go no huddle. It’s not like Ben and AB have to learn a game plan.

I don't really understand why practice would be hard on a QB but whatever.

I believe the old saying, practice makes perfect so with the two stars of the team making millions a year taking time off and not trying to improve , just doesn't sit right with me. Now if they both are hurting and unable to practice that is a different story.

Ben is not doing so well. I believe I read he is suffering a few minor injuries one of which we know is the broken index finger. AB had his hand stepped on but not sure that is even bothering him but makes for a good excuse to miss practice lol

Would Tom Brady or Drew Brees take the day off?

Well, just a quick google search shows Brady sitting out last October, December, and then again in August (training camp). That was in just the first couple of google responses. I didn't even bother with Brees because I didn't care enough to look to be honest.

I’ll take this in jest, but for the sake of those who may misread it. Game plan is normally taught on Wednesday and practiced Thursday and Friday. At least from what I read. With a Thursday game, this doesn’t work. Therefore, as Ben said they will go mostly no huddle. The no huddle is a scaled down playbook that they all should know.

haha. Ben just shredded the number 1 defense on the road. I would say, he deserves it. Big Ben is playing as good as ever the last month. Going to need him and AB to be tip top if they are going to keep it going against a very tough schedule.

    Yes

Just found a year old article where Brees said because of his age he normally takes Wednesday’s off. He isn’t younger this year I think.

Gee, I can't figure out why these Thursday night games usually suck? It's almost like 3 days isn't enough time to properly prepare or recover

Well, they get an extra 3 days the next week so it shouldn't be a big deal!

Going no huddle i would much rather have rested the D. As to resting Ben, Brown will be reaching for the stars well into the 4th quarter.
