1-3...We'll beat the Browns, Just because they are the Browns...The defense looking around, pointing, nobody knowing wth they are doing...No pass rush, no coverage skills ( Hilton and Burnett should help )...No way they could be worse, can't tackle still( thought Bradley was going to rectify that ) Heyward and Tuiit- non existant...Kicking game sucks

Are ALL these things are going to all a sudden dramatically improve ( and I didn't even mention the offense )

This is just a bad team imo

Because of their tie, it's not likely that Steelers will be finish the season tied with same record with a division team.
There almost certainly won't be a division tiebreaker with Cincy/Balt unless those teams tie a game.
The Steelers could have a division tie with Cle, but if there it'll be between two 6-9-1 teams or something, and won't have playoff inplications, and that tiebreak will be decided in the next Cle/Pit game, and won't go to division games.
So tiebreakers likely won't matter. The Steelers just need to win games period.

I'm not sure where the voters are finding these wins. If Cleveland knew how to close out games they'd be undefeated right now. They are hardly an easy win anymore, at least not how they are playing now. Nothing is impossible but I don't think our defense is going to flip a switch and get good all of a sudden. If there is one ray of hope, it is that Tomlin's teams like to win just enough to make us think they can make the playoffs and all it accomplishes is a late middle-to-late round draft pick.

I’ll just remind folks that 2 years ago we were 4-5 and left for dead. We had been blown out by Miami, and had an embarrassing home loss vs. Dallas in what looked like a must-win game. We rallied to win 9 straight.

Last year we were 3-2 after Ben had just looked like a rookie QB vs Jax. We won 10 of the next 11, even with the loss of Shazier during that stretch and losing AB early in the NE game. Oh, and we were robbed of a win vs NE in a game without Shazier and without AB for most of it. It should have been 11 straight to close the regular season.

The point is that it’s very premature to count this team out. The recent past shows us that this team can rally and string together a bunch of wins. My gut tells me that won’t happen this year because of how our defense looks, and because I’m not sure we can rely on Boz to kick the game winner in close games, but I’m not ready to throw in the towel just yet. I said 3-1, and I really believe it.

Reminded me of a memorable Dr. Demento radio show tune from the early 80's - Bruce "Baby Man" Baum's "She's Got Marty Feldman Eyes" (sung to the tune of She's Got Bette Davis Eyes)

    upload_2018-10-6_16-10-23.jpeg

    Her head is growing bald
Her feet are twice her size
She says it's not her fault
    She's got Marty Feldman eyes

She'll turn the sprinklers on you
And dry you off with her thighs
She'll confuse the hell out of you
    She's got Marty Feldman eyes

    And she'll woo you
    Then she'll moon you
And forget to pull her pants up
    She's obnoxious
    And she knows it
And she knows how to blow her nose up
All the boys think she's fried
    She's got Marty Feldman eyes

    She's ferocious
    Narcoleptic
    Ambidextrous
    Supercalafragalisticexpialadocious
    Bogus
    Vegamatic
    (she slices and she dices!)

All the boys think she's a guy
    She's got Marty Feldman eyes

    You're so lame
You probably think this song is about you
    You're so lame
    You're so lame, yeah

    Jimmy Durante's nose
    And Jimmy Walker's lips
    Liberace's clothes
    Shelly Duvall's hips
    She's got Willy Nelson legs
    And Nancy Reagan's spleen
    Dolly Parton's lungs
    She's got Leon Spinks' teeth
    Bob Seger's pancreas

All the boys think she's some kind of guy
    She's got Marty Feldman eyes

Not if either Jacksonville nor Kansas City have anything to say about it.

One team that has a balanced offense and Mike Hilton on D

    And one that doesn’t

I have zero doubt he will.

New England does not even have the defense that Jacksonville does. Add Patrick's continual evolution and his arrary of weapons, even Belichick is going to have some issues.

I thought the entire defense played well. Watt looked like he out of the game last week and this week he was on fire. Cam applied alot of pressure as well. he left the game. hope he is ok.. Think it might be his hammie

Bengals play Steelers and Chiefs next 2 games, Ravens play at Tenn, home to Saints and at Carolina next 3 games. Browns are 2-2-1 like us and unpredictable. Get a win next week in Cincy and after the bye against the Browns get to 4-2-1 and we should be in good shape to be near first place at the end of October. The Ravens and Bengals will lose more games these next 3 weeks or so. Beating the Bengals next week is huge because they will probably lose in KC in 2 weeks as well which could drop them to 4-3 and if the Steelers win in Cincy and after the bye against the Browns they are 4-2-1. So still a long way to go and a lot to be determined. The Steelers needed this win today bad to set up these next few weeks and they got just that.

We will win in Cincy next week I truly believe we will. It’s a huge huge 2 game swing win or lose. You win you are 3-2-1 and are a 1/2 game back of Cincy at 4-2. Lose you are 2-3-1 to the Bengals 5-1 and are 2 1/2 games behind them. So a lot on the line next week in Cincy it’s a huge huge swing game as far as this season goes.

Good predictions by myself from a month ago turned out pretty good. I knew the Steelers would be in good shape if they could find a way to win some games in a row like they did. Both Cincy and Baltimore did their parts by slipping up this past month and it opened the door for the Steelers who took full advantage of it.
