He looks like bell in 2014 pre injury wise, but with added down hill speed

By my count, I believe connor is the only rb to cross 100 Yds against the ravens' defense this season

James Conner had a better college career than Bell did. No reason for that pedigree to not carry over.

Conner has been every bit as good as I thought he would in his second season, if not better. He is our future feature running back.

However, I do concur with Blast; slap a 1st round tender on Bell next season. If no one bites, given the fact that Bell did not even play one game and will likely not for the rest of the season, he will be paid the same $14.5 million. No increase.

    Yep.

Conner is the first. Not 100% certain Mixon will do it. Then again, we shall wait and see.

He fits this regime better. Not because he is the better or more talented player but because he is a team guy and we didnt need two headaches who care about their numbers just as much as winning with how undisciplined and dysfunctional we are. It's why we lead the NFL by far in penalties.

Conner's best college season far surpassed anything LeVeon did at Michigan St. However, LeVeon had a better college career as a whole. Conner's numbers were not the same after his bout with cancer.

Being a "TEAM GUY" is part of the reason he is better...Besides right now ball ain't sh*t home on the couch

I dont look at college and such. Its several guys who had far better college careers than others yet werent better in the pros.

It's not grounds to say why a player is better than another. Brady didnt have a great college career and nether did Rodgers yet it isnt a qb on the planet anyone would take over those 2. Baker mayfield was the most efficient passer in FBS history yet he's turned the ball over more in a few starts in the nfl than he has in 2 years at Oklahoma. Cant look at college as the reason someone is better in the pros.

I’m not sure if this is a thread about appreciating Conner or ripping Jet Ski.

Clearly, Conner is our future. Should Jet Ski report this year, he may even be a back up.

Possibly. Mahomes is the run away favorite. Brees and Gurley are prob tied for 2nd. Goff is in the convo. Cam is inching his into the convo.

    :hmm:

Oh... I see where this is going. You are the user that had that bout with the likes of Blast and Mac about James Conner vs. Le'Veon Bell if I recall.

    Sorry my man. Admit it. Bell's days as a Steeler are over. Like the Metallica song;

    "For Whom The Bell Tolls"

    It has tolled for Bell.

I agree he is done as a steeler. I just stated today and earlier this week after the deadline it was time for both parties to move on. But it was by his own doing why he's gone. The team wanted him back this year. He choose to go the route he went and I'm confused to what his point of this is now. I thought initially he knew they were getting rid of him this offseason so he tried to hold out till the deadline so they cant trade him. Now I dont get what he's doing.
