Thanks didn't remember that. He'll make the HOF some day IMO. Dangerous QB to play against.

Agreed. He's an absolute nightmare for defenses. Steelers rush will have to get to him for any chance to keep that offense off balance.

I'd be surprised if he isn't a first ballot HOF.

I know that. I was pointing out the hypocrisy in Heinz's post. He had been going on and on about past seasons as reasons why things might happen now, but he wanted to dismiss how the Chiefs are different now.

That said, though it is most likely that the Chiefs would win a rematch, this idea that the Steelers have no shot simply isn't correct.

How is that even a question? Of course Brees is a mortal lock to make the Hall of Fame.

I think the Steelers can still finish 11-4-1 which might be good enough to get a bye week and a 2 seed depending upon if the Steelers beat the Patriots head to head and the Patriots lose two other games besides that. One of those could be this weekend to Aaron Rodgers and the Packers. If that indeed would happen this weekend and the Steelers beat the Ravens it definitely opens the door for the Steelers to have a legit chance to overtake the Patriots for a bye week.

This where I'm going. But looking at Houston's schedule I'm not sure if they lose another game. I think ne can lose to GB and us. I see chiefs locked at 1 seed with only potential loss to the rams.

Idk. I mean it's the nfl and one game so any given Sunday but I don't think we have enough to beat them at home. I'd give us a very fair shot if we were at home though.

Lets all calm down on mahomes until he wins big playoff game..... I will never forget peyton and the unbeatable colts playing the jets and getting embarrassed 42-0 when every single person in world picked colts and then him throwing up stinker after stinker in playoff games until he finally got over the hump.........

Matt ryan is another that took like 6 games to finally win a playoff game......

I need to see it first... There will be a ton of pressure on him that first playoff game..........

The Steelers have the potential to lose the rest of their schedule or win every game left. Who the hell knows with this team. We could end up beating the Pats but losing to the Raiders. With our coaching, its a crap shoot either way. Safer to focus on the next game vs what Tomlin did last year during game planning for the Jags.

Since you'll never forget that game. Did you remember that the 'unbeatable' Colts were a wild card team that year (2002 season)? The Colts were also 6pt underdogs playing in Jersey. So I guess every single person in the world outside of Las Vegas picked the Colts.

I agree but the way he came back vs ne in Foxborough and took the lead in the 4th qtr showed me something. And that was after he had played his worst half of football of the season.

Brees won a sb vs peyton in 2009. And was the sb mvp.

They are just in complete disarray. I gave them a chance early on but their owner is too busy trying to be the next Jerry jones.

He'll definitely be first ballot. His stats and accolades are impeccable. Rings aside the only guy with better stats and individual accolades is peyton.

The browns. I thought hue got a raw deal. I get the record but look at the roster he had and he was handicapped by a gm and ownership who didnt let him get any input on the roster/draft picks.

Remaining schedule looks very difficult. But, your going to play great teams in the playoffs.

    Panthers, Chargers, Patriots, Saints

For real teams. Good measuring stick. Plus you know how Tomlin and the Steelers like to play against teams .500 and below. Might be good for us.

I think the Steelers can go 6-2 in their last 8 games and finish at 11-4-1 which might be good enough to get a bye week and a 2 seed if they can beat the Pats head to head here in December and hope the Pats lose a few more games. Two others to be exact. One would be tonight against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

I knew we would beat bmore but the next few games except for the Broncos and jags are all not looking good for us. Especially the game vs the saints I think that is a loss. I actually like our chances vs ne. Idk if we beat sd or car I'm 50/50 on those

Yupp they can still at least get the 2 seed but looking at Houston's schedule idk if they lose another game. I think NE loses 2 more games. Chiefs are pretty much a lock for the 1 seed.

Houston still has tough games at Washington and at Philly left and any game Houston plays I feel in the division they are capable of possibly losing. They aren’t gonna run the table and win 13 in a row they will drop a few games a long the way.
