Lev Bell didn't break any long runs last year... which was really odd.

Honestly, it might not have been an out of shape thing... be may have some kind of injury he is hiding, wheels might be starting to fall off.

4 years his longest was 44 yards. I've been saying this.. He doesn't have homerun speed. He bulked up to be able to take the punishment. Just like how all the patience and dancing in the hole isn't necessary all the time. He makes 8-10 yard runs look harder than they should be with this o-line. That's why D Will and Conner have had so much success just hitting the hole and going. Got to be harder on the o-line to hold blocks that long for Bell.

Bell didn't bulk up, he came into the league much bigger and heavier than he is now

This.....Not only do I feel Bell screwed up,I think in the long run, He's gonna be really sorry...

His VERY unique running style, combined with his lack of speed...When he gets on a team with an O-line nothing like the Steelers...A team without the offensive talent surrounding him, so you can't be keyed on, like the Steelers...I think his self perceived value of himself is going to plummet...

Heard it here first...Mr.Bell is hoing to into rapid decline and some people are going to say " wth happened to him" ?

True. Maybe he just never had homerun speed but I remember him breaking off bigger runs early in his career. I know they made him lose a lot of weight coming into his rookie season. Looking at it now it looks like it was after he blew his knee up against the Bengals so that makes a lot of sense.

Bell could end up the Terrence Trent D'arby of NFL RB's. Attain anitial success, let it go to his head and then a few years later, "Who?"

Who? I have never heard of Terrence Trent D'Arby and had to google him. Bell will be remembered more than Greg Hawthorne or Walter Abercrombie, but sadly it might be more for his holdout, than his skillset. Here's to James Conner.

May be before your time. D'Arby was on track to be the next Prince/Michael Jackson. He had 3 big hits off of his first album, circa 1987-88... and then he put out a 2nd album that was too experimental for the masses. Good music... but not poppy enough. I know this because I'm an 80's junkie... grew up in that decade, GenX.
