Funny Feeling

Idk...I just have a funny feeling if/ when Bell shows up, There are going to be issues

That's all the media will talk about, teammates will get tired ( I think already are ) talking about it

We are on a pretty good roll, How does one go about incorporating Bell into the mix

Call it a hunch, I just don't trust him...And I think the front office towards Bell, and vise versa, there is animosity...Both sides, for the most part, are keeping it civil

Curious to what everyone expects...A fresh, but rusty Bell? A Bell that plays determined, looking for a big payday?

A pissed off Bell, splitting carries with Conner? A ( I'm gonna go through the motions ) Bell, or come up with a " nagging" injury Bell...To preserve himself for his NEW team?

I personally don't trust the guy, and think when/ if he comes back...There is gonna be problems...Someway, Somehow...jmo

 

You are going to get at least 3-4 post saying, another Bell thread and a few asking who is this Bell guy you speak of.

I just want the Steelers to have a good season and win the division as a F U to this Bell guy.

 

So what player gets cut because of this selfish punk? Some poor guy who’s worked his tail off all seasons now gets cut because this punk comes back. It’s one thing to lose out to another guy because you were outplayed, but to get the boot for the selfish drama queen is pretty pathetic.

At this point if Bell does come back he’ll only be an insurance policy if I was running the team. He’d be inactive and at the best playing only special-teams unless there was an injury to Connor.

 

Aren't we supposed to just trust in the way the Rooneys decide to handle it? Isn't that the chosen way to prove your fandom around here?

 

While that's what the team should do, I don't think it's what they will do. They aren't going to pay a player 900k a game to sit on the bench. While I think Connor has earned his spot in the lineup, I just don't think it will matter because it's ultimately all about the money. Who goes when Bell gets back? If I had to guess, it's probably either Hunter or Ridley.

I stated my opinion on how I’d handle the situation. You certainly wouldn’t see me on here acting like a big baby if they don’t go that route.

You've been complaining and trashing Bell the entire time throughout this unfortunate saga. Isn't that what other people are doing when voicing " their " opinions on things? Or is it only acting like a "baby" when others do it?
I know you're a smart dude but it baffles me how you can't grasp the concept of a message board and others opinions and how they decide to go about voicing them. It's a place for discussion and opinions and there are more than the 3 options you listed in another post. There is the 4th option which is to root in any way you choose. Constantly changing and evolving based upon your feelings on different subjects. I'm sure there are things you agree with that the "bellyachers" have to offer as well. How boring would it be around here if we all agreed on everything? I realize I'm acting like one myself right now but complaining about the complainers is the same thing. To each his own but to have your Fan Card checked every time you criticize the organization is silly and there are a few around here who make it their business. We are all here for a reason. We love the Steelers and are passionate about them and fans should be allowed to show it in the way they see fit.
I respect your passion and loyalty as a fan. I know what you do for a living, so I know you're a prideful,hardworking person. I love that you seem to bring those qualities to this site,which just so happens to be the best there is by far. I really like our little "community " we have grown thanks to TTF. I think everyone here brings a little something different to the table. That is what makes this a place I probably spend way more time at then I should. Just got home a hour or so ago from a overnight (laborer as well) yet here I am choosing TSFs over sleep . Damn you TTF.... Don't you ever check my Fan Card ......

I really hope it's not Samuels I see a bright future for him here. He needs a NFL off season under his belt. If he can go through a similar transformation physically like we've seen from Conner and Bell going into their second season. He could be yet another weapon.....

I only read a couple sentences and then I stopped. I’ll respond to those. Yes I’ve been vocal about my displeasure with Leavy on Bell. Not the same as continually bashing the organization I’m supposed to be a huge fan of. I’m not a fan of Bell.
Other thing is I know exactly what iMessage board is for, but I thought a Steelers message board would be a little bit more positive about the Steelers. If I want to continually rant and ***** about the Steelers then maybe a ravens are bangles board would be a better place if you have that much negativity about the Steelers.
And I’m not talking about a guy who has some critique once in a while on the team or some concerns. I’m talking about the handful of guys that do nothing but ***** and complain about everything. And before you say I’m questioning someone’s fandom I’m not saying they’re not fans. I’m just saying they’re not very good ones.

We are all Rooneys on this board. Most have invested time, money, joy, and tears following our team. Doesn't hurt to express what we would do even though its not worth the pixels on the screen your reading. The main objective is beating the crap out of the Rats and getting #5 this weekend. Winning solves most problems but I do think the phantom RB could be a negative influence in achieving that if they let him in the building.

 

Yeah I pretty much give up. I don't want to take any chances and have my Fan Card revoked by the True Fan Task Force and I especially don't want my Not A Very Good Fan approval rating to dip below say 50% because that would automatically get me sent to Rats,Bungles or Stains and maybe if I'm really unlucky Cheats message board purgatory.....yikes!

 

yeah this website is great for allowing us fans to vent and voice our displeasure. Glemm is grumpy but thats just his nature lol i appreciate his posts too even if i am lost in the void.

 

Dude you’re being totally ridiculous about this.
An example of what I’m talking about it’s something like Sdot’s meltdown about how dumb the Steelers were for not trading for Patrick Peterson.
Or WattWack/ tenacious D ‘s nonstop Clickbait posts trying to prove everybody how dumb the Steelers are.
I’m not talking about general critique. I mean who doesn’t have some criticisms of the team? I know I certainly do.
