Isn't the choice between Rogers and Adenyi? or are they both eligible to return from IR? I thought they had increased it to two players that can comeback from IR and they don't have to be designated to return before IR'd but not sure about the details

I think you're right...They did implement that this year...I think Adenyi was turning heads, and we have WR depth...Switzer isn't going anywhere..And still have Hey Bey off...Bet they work out some kind of injury settlement

Eli was on the PUP list. Not IR.

I believe if any come back they have to release someone to make room. The same goes for when/If Bell comes back. I would make room for Adenyi, but I won't be surprised if they don't.

I like Rogers a lot, actually. Justin Washington is likely the future, but I think Rogers could be a big "pick-up."

Does this end the Justin Hunter experiment?

Eli and Hunter are two different animals. The Steelers like Justin Hunter because he is a deep threat. Well, at least he's perceived to be. Plus Ben seems to like him. I think Hunter sticks around until they feel confident James Washington is ready. Eli is a possession receiver who can be a plug and play slot receiver if need be. Problem is Ryan Switzer serves the same purpose and is better at it, IMO. Eli may be the one on his way out. At some point, with all these receivers on the roster, the Steelers are going to have to decide whether or not DHB is still worthy of a roster spot. I know he is a good special teamer but it's kind of hard to carry 7 receivers on the roster.

IMO Hunter and DHB have about the same realistic threat as a deep receiver. Which isn't very realistic with either one. That being said having Hunter and DHB is redundant and the fact we are basically using Washington as a deep threat mostly, that gives us three options when we are barely using one. I think they should decide between Hunter and DHB with DHB maybe getting the nod because of STs even though we have enough on our current roster to take him or leave him. I disagree about Switzer being a better slot than Rogers ( if fully healthy) but Switzers role is solidified because of his return game. I feel Rogers has a better feel for getting open and a larger catch radius than Switzer. Rogers and Ben had developed a nice chemistry for a while there. I'm not sure it really matters either way with the emergence of all 3 of our TEs and a WR wasn't dressing anyway. Now with Bells eventual return he will provide another option for the O...
I honestly don't see a prominent role for either Hunter or DHB. If I'm the coaches I'm making room for Ola and I don't care if a body has to be removed from the WR group to make it happen. It's the D that can use all the help they can get. McCullers is in my crosshairs too as a possible dead man walking. We need to pull out all the stops on D with the teams we have coming up. Thomas ,Fort ,Ola get these guys in the mix...

In a couple of years, I think DHB is going to be older than me.
