ESPN reports that Ben is tied for 6th all time with John Elway with 40 come from behind wins in the 4th Q after today's win.....and Ben's 40 comebacks are the most since 2004

No matter how bad it seems sometimes, we need to really enjoy our time left with Big Ben

    1) Peyton Manning 54
    2) Marino 47
    3) Favre 43
    4) Brees 43
    5) Brady 43 (not sure if ESPN was counting tonight's game yet????)
    6) Roethlisberger 40
    Elway 40

I am not ready for the Josh Dobbs or Mason Rudolph era. Those guys aren't ready. Ben will be wearing a gold jacket. I really don't care if he is the GOAT. Canton Ohio has plenty of great QB's enshrined and he will be added in the near future.

Big Ben is a rough rider for certain. I doubt many among SteelersNation would rebuke that.

The man can not only take shots but deal just as much punishment. Given his abilities alone, he has shown that he can easily tire out an entire defense by himself over the course of his career; something not even many Running Backs are capable of and much less Quarterbacks.

He is an enshirnee into Canton; First Ballot no less. Let us enjoy however long he has with us.

I recall the broadcast putting up a graphic saying he had 40-something comeback drives. I’ll have to go watch it again.
    :hmm:

    Either way, he’s a keeper!

Then we will all see what kind of coach Tomlin is. Been saying for years that Tomlin was lucky to have Ben that helped Tomlin's won/lose regular season record. This dosen't translate to post season because then other playoff teams match up better with just as good players AND good coaching.

To be precise it was Ben for "Dubbs" like the poster was Dobbs' BFF.

Of course Tomlin is lucky to have Ben. Otoh, since Ben has never been the best QB in the league there must be other coaches who have been even luckier than Tomlin. Ben alone does not explain Tomlin's record. Maybe you can add in a theory about inheriting Cowher's players or maybe something with LeBeau. Oh, and don't forget to mention the Rooney Rule.

Probably going to have to get to about 47-48 this season for us to have a chance.
