I agree with you on this point. My opinion is clouded by my Steelers fandom and that is certainly part of my resentment. But I have close friends from all over the country who are fans of different teams and they all feel like Bell quit on the Steelers too.

This is just my opinion, but I think the difference between people who think he quit on his team and those who think he's in the right is their age.

Those of us over 30 who have worked for a company and/or have had employees of our own think he's a bum for asking to be the highest paid RB and then turning down a contract that would have made him the highest paid RB.

Those under 30 think he should have no loyalty to the team (company) that took a chance on him, gave him his first job, and made him what he is as an NFL player. They think he should get everything he can while the getting's good.

So IMO it's more of an age or where you are in life thing than anything else.

My official take on Conner is that he is not quite as talented a back as Bell, however now that his pass pro has dramatically improved he is everything the Steelers offense needs and more.

I said players and analysts. I was referring to both. Not just players only.

This has been explained many times over multiple threads. Also, you've been rambling on about former players. You keep talking about guys having Hall of Fame credentials and that is why their opinion should matter more than others. You are now shifting your argument to include analysts who aren't former players.

As I said, you don't know who the people here are and that is part of the point of an anonymous message board. If you want to make an argument, back it up with facts, logic and observation rather than rambling on about who agrees with you.

The talking heads on television aren't always right. This is true of the ones who worked their way up as reporters, the former coaches and the former players. "XXXX the Hall of Famer said the same thing so I must be right!" does not hold up.

If you think nobody here has anything of value to say, your behavior makes no sense. You spend an awful lot of time posting here for someone who doesn't respect the knowledge of anybody else posting here.

    You can understand this?

Whatever Sharpe is saying doesn't even make sense and I have absolutely no idea what Deion is talking about. "Check lady"? The only thing missing is Michael Irvin with his grandstanding and shouting over everyone else.
I will say LT has come a long way since he started this gig, his first season was awful.

I get on here sometimes when I'm bored. I'm not on here a lot. I said former players and analysts. That includes the coaches with things on their resumes and the reporters and analysts who didnt play or werent great but they still have credible sports things or their resume. And what can I say about literally no one on this board having anything credible at all to say about the steelers because all you one here would care about is what you feel is in the best interest of Pitt and pitt only as the others on the outside looking in have a more objective approach. Like I said the only people I see talking bad about leveon are the people who are steelers fans. Everyone else seems to recognize who he is.

Sharpe was simply making a joke trying to say james wouldnt go for leveon coming back taking his spot and thus would go and lineup on the field when he shouldn't. Deion was saying If james didnt get off the field he would withhold his paycheck. I very easily comprehended what they meant and were saying..

Things which could be a variety of videos and not anything specific. Who would like a sports analysis of someone they couldnt understand when the purpose of watching it is to either gain knowledge or listen to the opinion of said analysts or players to get a different opinion.

You post a lot. Your posting frequency does not match up with your claim here.

You do not understand objective analysis and journalism. You don't really know how to properly use the word literally, unless you are claiming that you know the full background and intent of every person on this board. You don't. There are probably Bell fans here who don't care about the Steelers that much. There are people here who are far more capable of bringing objectivity to a discussion than you.

Those former players you keep citing are not objective. They are going to side with players getting more money every time. That bias continues to escape you.

The only thing I see you bringing to the conversation is consistent mangling of the conventions of the English language.

I post alot. That means I can post 30x within a 30 min window. That's not being on here a lot. There's a difference between posting a lot and being on somewhere a lot. There's several times I've gotten on here and replied to stuff from days later. I havent yet seen anybody here post about bell and only bell and said fluff the steelers so idk where your theory on that is. And why dont these players support every player who gets paid. I saw several say brock osweiler was overpaid. Why didnt they support him getting paid if according to you all they care about is players getting paid. You think if blake bortles held out to be paid like an elite QB they would support him? I only see them supporting the ELITES who deserve top dollar to be paid. Not any player so to say they just "side with players because their players" is pure idiocy.

You're obviously WAY too young to have listened to Howard Cosell call a football game! We listened to/watched him in spite of his lack of football knowledge!

Chris Mortensen of ESPN is reporting that second-year running back James Conner will continue to keep the starting role even with Bell being available.

If I believed you, that would explain a lot. It shows that you aren't reading what others write carefully and that you are putting little effort into constructing a well-supported argument.

Your Brock Osweiler example is a terrible one. The guy got a big deal with very little on his resume and he has been a flop ever since. Do you know what an outlier is? Nobody can make an argument that he isn't being overpaid.

Bell is a completely different situation. He is a great player. There is a reasonable argument to be made on both sides. In cases like that, former players side with players.

There is nuance involved in my point. I apologize for confusing you.

Thank you for acknowledging that bell is a great player and thus THAT IS THE REASON why the are supporting him in getting paid. Also you said it YOURSELF. In cases like that. You originally didn't state that. You made a generalization as if they support all player blindly because they are players and they played. No they support those who are WORTHY of that endorsement. Thank you.

No, I said they tend to support players. I never said they would support players who suck like Osweiler. The nuance escaped you and now you think you made some great point. You didn't. I just had to explain something to you that you failed to grasp the first time around.
