Dang Ravens are only allowing only 12.8 PPG. Were going to have to figure that one out. They also had 11 sacks yesterday.

Ravens are miles ahead of the Steelers defensively. It's gonna be hard to win at Baltimore. The loss to the Ravens at Heinz Field will come back to haunt.

The good: Great game! I thought we played pretty well all around. Good plays cancelling bad ones and coming through when we had to.
The bad: Letting the Bengals drive for the go ahead late in the game.
The ugly: Me after the Bengals drove for the go ahead late in the game. Ok, I'll be honest, I am ugly all the time, but I guess I was double ugly after that!

11 sacks against an inept Titans team no less.

Either way you are correct. Ravens are an issue more so this season than they were the previous years. Something is different. Not sure what it is either.

The Titans' offense sucks, so that is part of it.

The Steelers had opportunities against the Ravens. Roethlisberger was awful in the second half. It wasn't all about pressure, either. He just missed open throws. I also think the line is playing better now, in part because everybody is healthy and back in sync.

No game against the Ravens is going to be easy, but the Steelers can play a lot better than what they did the first time and they were within a score in that game until late in the fourth quarter.

AFC South is total trash right now. But it will produce a playoff team by some team winning it.

AFC West- Looks like Chiefs as clear cut favorite. San Diego is a bit of a surprise. Broncos don't look too good, and Raiders are bad.

AFC North- Ravens, Bengals, and us. I thought Browns were trending up, but went back to their old ways against the Chargers.

AFC East-Patriots look like clear favorite as usual. Dolphins are 4-2 is a suprise. Jets are 3-3. Hard to say what happens there.

I think Houston by the end of the season will be good and ultimately will win the divisio. It took deshaun and watt time to get back into the flow shyer their injuries.

Rivers finally has some talent (Gordon) besides Antonio Gates. Chargers are better than expected.

Gordon and Allen are not new. Both were impact players last season. The real difference is they didn't open the season with their collective heads stuffed up the wrong end of their collective anatomy. For some reason, the Chargers couldn't get their act together until Week 5 last season. From then on, they were 9-3, but it was too late. This didn't come from nowhere.

The Chargers had MAJOR kicking problems last year at the beginning of the season.

Agree, I even like Bostic against the run better then Vince. To me, Vince and 44 are about the same against the run, with none of them good against the pass.

The Good.. we won, and are in position to take control of the division if we keep playing as well as we are capable of...
The bad... Our special teams coverage on kickoffs, and STILL giving up big plays on DEEFENSE...in crucial situations..
The Ugly... The Officiating on both sides of the ball, :butcher:

I thought the defense looked good. Held the running game in check and got a few sacks. The bengals had been really hot and only allowed 3 scoring drives all game. If we can keep them out of the end zone better and hold them to 3 once or twice, then we might have ourselves something. It’s a start in the right direction.

Conner was good. O Line was better. The WR’s stepped up and we got some good play from the front 7. I noticed fewer penalties too which is good.

The challenge situation with Tomlin was atrocious. Almost cost us the game. Inexcusable stuff, he has to to better. Artie had a bad game. Everyone else looked mostly alright.

I’m glad AB housed that last play. I was shaking in my boots about Boz’s potential game winner lol

When the Bengals scored the TD and went up 21-20 my said you seem rather calm. i said there is 72 seconds on the clock and somehow the Steelers still have all 3 of their timeouts. The Bengals left too much time on the clock. Just need to get into Field Goal range (although I've been more nervous lately when Boz is called upon).

    The Good........Conner, Oline, Macdonald.
    The Bad...........Burns Burns Burns
The Ugly..........Burficts cheap shots are still as frequent as the sun rises and sets.

I was glad the Bengals scored then and there because I figured it was inevitable, at least there's enough time left to put something together. The thought of a field goal attempt (from any distance) was making me nervous, especially after Fouts reminded everyone that Boswell had never missed in that stadium.
