Yep. The way they scored may have looked bad on the defense, but the timing was great for us.

I'm a little worried about our secondary, but I'll take it!

 

Defense played well relatively speaking. I still feel scheme is hurting us more often than not. They have to find a way to dial up the pressure when it's needed most. I would say the slot CB blitz has fun its course. At this point it is just making a weak part weaker.

 

I'm still hoping Burnett can bring some stability to the back end. I also like what I'm seeing from Sutton with him getting more reps.

 

I've been working on it for 3 hours now.

 

Bye week is at the right time as well. Give the D some time to sort who needs to be in what role. Build on the last few weeks performances and come back stronger.

 

ALSO: The Steelers absolutely OWN the Bengals.

 

Offense needs to play for the touchdown in those situations. No going up 6 when you know the defense is trash.

 

the defense had me nervous. We almost didn't let them score quick enough.

 

True. I’d still like us to use Forts speed more on 3rd down, but VW put in a good effort.
