In my opinion this game is the season. That being said I'll be too nervous to eat much.

Seafood of some sort. I’ll be driving back from Columbus and listening to the game on the radio. I found a listing for a seafood restaurant/pub in Youngstown that we will try along the way.

Went to a shrimp boil last night with corn on the cob and new potatoes. The guy cooked way too much and was getting ready to throw the rest in the trash. What?

    Fried shrimp for me.

Getting ready to pull four smoked pork butts out of the smoker. Been on for 14 hours. Mashed potatoes and green beans.

yup.. agreed. IF they lose today they division is lost and playoffs likely unattainable unless they get a wild card

Not right now Glenn, but when you have time, please lay out your smoking technique for us. I have a Brinkman vertical smoker and use Kingsford with embedded chunks in large bowl on bottom rung (with peroiodic additions of water soaked foil wrapped hickory/apple wood chip mix), water pan with whatever's left in the bottom of the fridge (hydrator) on the second rung up and then a variety of meats, sausages, fish on top two rungs in descending order of what stays on the longest. Problem with the charcoal is that it fills up quickly with ash over a long stretch and needs to be topped off every few hours. You must be using a wood log indirect smoker that allows the logs to smoulder for a very long time? Even still can you leave it unattended overnight which is what you would have done if you've already been on for 14 hours this morning? I've always fired up the smoker not just for my own benefit of the delicious results, but to drive all the neighbors crazy knowing they're salivating all day long and wishing I'd invite them over for dinner. This worked better when I lived in an urban setting but now out in Timbukthree, I'm probably just annoying the coyotes and turkey vultures. LOL. Enjoy my friend.

I usually keep the house at 66* over the winter.

I don’t typically do a meal-meal so early in the day. And my son is here, and (gulp) he’s not into football. And I’m watching the game on my phone, which kinda hinders big emotions.

    So nachos.

Two men are sitting at a bar. One impeccably dressed in an Armani suit the other in his work clothes. The business man turns to the other and says " I bought my wife a brand new BMW and a 5 carat diamond for mother's day" The worker looks confused and say "Why two such extravagant gifts?" "Well...if she decides she doesn't like the ring she can drive her BMW back to Tiffany's and exchange it for what she would prefer" "Oh" says the worker" I did something similar for my wife" "How so?" says the business man "Well I bought her a pair of slippers and a dildo" The business man looked truly confused "Well..ye see..if she doesn't like the slippers she can go F*** herself"

By the way, Im having chili and cheese queso dip, tortilla chips, and cooking some burgers and dogs on the grill. Got me a case of Pumpking to wash it down with.

Just don’t forget to nod and agree every so often, mind, just in case your son has been talking to you.

I’ve turned into a watch on the phone multitasking pro this season.
