put money down on the pens winning it all and on Crosby winning the Hart.

I've got $1,000.00 on them winning it all. Nothing on Crosby winning the Hart.
That game should have been easier than it was. Caps played last night so it was a back to back for them.
Maybe first game of the season jitters. We will see how they play Saturday. Big thing is they won.

You took the words right out of my alphabet soup. Throw the Pitt Panthers and Pirates into the Tidy Bowl as well if you didn't already have them in there.

Hopefully that game gives Tanger momentum for a great season after last year. I know that our Defensemen should have gotten bodies and sticks on people at crease (especially on Ovis goal) but Murray has to play better.

Surprisingly or maybe not depending on how you feel about Letang, he had more gaffes than Jack Johnson and everybody was screaming that the Johnson signing was bad.

As bad as he has played the first 2 games he needs to sit for awhile anyway. Hopefully he can come back and play better or its going to be a long season. This is his second one he has gotten in practice. What the hell is going on in practice? They must be playing harder in practice than they have played in the first 2 regular season games.

He sure did but he also had plenty of help upfront. About time they sat Matta, he makes so many mistakes and rarely clears the puck cleanly from the Pens end. Those stretch passes to Kessell were a thing of beauty and Dude didn't miss when he got to the net. Wonder what they do with all those hats? Wonder if you can re-claim your hat after the game at lost and found or something. Those are $25-30 hats. Better than lugging an octopus into the arena in your pants.

Big game Saturday. They need to just play their game and string a few wins together in a row.

The Pens gave away a point last night by losing in a shoot out. Looks like Murrey might be back this week. I hope he wakes up and plays better.

Great game last night against Toronto in Toronto. Murray was back, getting a 3-0 shutout, Malkin is on fire with 3 more points.

As I recall, it took the Pens a while to get their sea legs last year after the back to back extended prior seasons. Consistency would be nice, especially from Murray and the D.

They used to have displays at the arena that were plexiglass with all the hats in them, not sure if they still do it.

Malkin is going full beast mode this season. He wants the Cup as well as the awards to go with it. I think he plays his best when he gets time off during the offseason and doesn't try to fit in as much international play as he can.

Looks like Sid might not be ready to be eliminated from any conversation about who is the best player in the world. That goal last night in overtime was nice to say the least. They are playing well for this early in the season.

Probably the best . most complete game the Pens have played this year. 9-1. Murray was sharp and just about everyone scored. They are on a nice little run right now.

Another great shut out game, 5-0. Backup goalie looks solid.
That finishes the road trip. Back home Tuesday.
It's very early in the season but I like what I'm seeing so far.

I pretty sure all of Canada is happy the Pens road trip is over. The two headed monster was just unstoppable and hey is there really any doubt Sid is ready to play. Let's go Pens.
