ive been waiting my whole life gang. The hang up has been the fact that if I pull the trigger, I was gonna do it for all 5 family members. Back in the day I had the Porter Bakersfield connection but wife was pregnant and funds were tight on a couple of occasions... Missed the hookup boat and didn't want to miss the births duh!!!

Little brother bought a 4 pack for him and his wife and 2 of their friends knowing I'm holding out for the whole brood... but the other couple backed out. Long story short, my baby momma (wife) is down for a couples trips you know to scope it all out to better set the future family trip hahahahaha.

Looks like the 12-2 game vs the Chargers. We're looking at an air BNB approximately 3 miles from Heinz.
Sec. 239... I've read so many other bucket lists on the board but am lazy and don't want to go back page fishing. We'll get there late on Thursday and headed home early Monday. Sunday is booked but I need ideas for Friday and Saturday. Fill my mind brothers and sisters pretty please!

Gateway Clipper cruise or a Duckie tour to see the city and get some info about it.

Why would anyone disagree with a trip to Pittsburgh? I've been thinking about driving the 6 hours just to go hangout and watch the game in a Steeler Bar. I've had many experiences in Three Rivers and Heinz so enjoy yourself dobbler.

The Inclines at night are spectacular. Their is plenty do so soak it all in.

My first time flying, and first time out of Texas (31 yrs old) was this past July 4th to Pittsburgh. It was beautiful, and worth it.

I went to Primanti's, saw the firework show at heinz, and went to museums with my kiddo.

Alas the trip ended, and I was sent back to my purgatory soyboy hell in Austin.

    lol

WHO THE HECK is "Disagreeing" the OP post? Sheesh.

As others have said, add Jerome Bettis grill by the stadium, throw in a trip to Station Square for the wife, then hit the incline for a bit.

Burgatory if you got kids. They have one in the stadium now too. They have really good shakes. Fat Heads for best beer/burger combo. If you like craft beer/NE IPAs, Brew Gentlemen and Dancing Gnome. Shop412 to get some Pittsburgh gear.

Many errant ratings have been caused by fat fingers.

There should be an ice skating rink at PPG Place. Pretty inexpensive, and probably a hot chocolate vendor nearby.

If you’re into that sort of thing.

While at PPG place check out the full size Santa equivalents from around the world.

There are two inclines. If you are looking at the hill, take the one on the right. There is a nice observation platform and some nice places to have a beverage and enjoy the view.

In that case be sure to check out Tequila Cowboy across from Bettis’ place. Lot of good bars on the North Shore and the South Side.

Probably hit the Duquesne incline and do the station square Friday. Dalucas and the strip on Saturday. Wife wants to see some historic cemeteries if any are in the area?

Try to fit in the boat ride and for sure get to some athlete owned spots for dinner.

Very pumped for the experience. I'm a cold weather guy she is not so hopefully she don't cry through the experience or run us out of the element game time hahahaha. Leather jacket, jeans, my beanie and I'm solid!

Hoping to catch on with some tailgaters after breakfast to get my beer on in hopes of not mortgaging the kids college funds on swill during the game hahahahaha.

Thanks. Only gonna be there 3 nights and Bussie's joint is mando for dinner. Might try hines' place and Franco's place as well. Figure lunches might be at primantis atleast a time or 2 but looking into everything and suggestions around here is pretty overwhelming eats wise

Thanks for the heads up Glenn. Is station square in the area of the Duquesne incline mt. Washington area? I'm just now starting to chart things out so want to dedicate each day to its own area. We'll be uBering and walking as I'm not gonna rent a car due to possible and unforeseen weather conditions. I can do snow in small towns but ain't trying to road grade in unfamiliar territory hahaha

I don't live in Pittsburgh, but the few times I've driven around there, it was crazy. Didn't have a GPS thingy and driving by myself so that didn't help. Use the uber, you'll thank yourself probably.
