They both could be on the trading block, per Jason La Canfora of CBS. Bucannon is a free agent after the season.

Of the 2, Reddick is the more intriguing player IMO. I think he was overdrafted at pick #13, but the raw talent and solid (though inconsistent) college tape are there. The Cards converted him from college edge rusher to a pure LB in the NFL, and it hasn’t worked out. I haven’t watched much of him since he entered the NFL, so I can only go by what I read about why he hasn’t worked out, and from what I’m reading he’s not adapting to the LB position. Maybe he could have success if he’s moved back to the edge.

Bucannon was good a couple of years back, but he’s struggled and he’s more of what we already have - a hybrid safety/LB.

In either case, when a team is moving on from young guys taken in the 1st round, the acquiring team had better do their research, because there must be good reasons why they’re moving on.

Well it could be just as you said with Reddick not adjusting well at ILB. We can definitely use some help at OLB especially rushing the QB. He's still under a rookie contract for at least another years or two. I wouldn't mind taking a flyer say a 3rd or 4th if that's the asking price, idk. Given the option of extending Dupree next year at over 9 mil. or taking a chance on Reddick's upside....you guys know where I stand.

Careful, there are some here that think that Dud is playing Really, really well. I need to get some new Black & Gold glasses that can actually see this.

Oh I'm well aware and some have even resorted to taking shots at TJ to try and boost Duprees actual production. Is Dupree playing better than last season? So far yes,but that bar he has set is pretty low so there's really nowhere to go but up. There really is no comparison....

Wilks switched from a 34 to a 43 base and most of his D players have struggled with the change, both of these players did well in the 34 not so much in this 43....

Still think Reddick can be used as a "mack" in the 3-4. Would like to add more speed within the Inside Linebacking corps.

Issue is, what price are the Cardinals willing to compromise? We will have to wait and see.

Fwiw, both guys are 6’1” and 211/235lbs. Isn’t that kinda small for an edge rusher?

    No.

James Harrison was 6 feet even if I recall. Ola Adenyi is 6'1 currently.

Regarding Hasson Reddick, I think he is fine height wise. Unless he has perfected his speed rushes, he might want to add some weight.

Like I said in the other thread. By Bud standards, Bud is playing pretty well.

Von Miller has been between 235 to 245 up until this season; 250 being his current listing.

Size is not everything. Other factors such as hand technique, body control, hip flexibility and ankle flexion (to name a few) all are integral and can sometimes "outweigh" such limitations.

And when was that weight recorded? Guys are often listed at their college weight. Good chance he’s added some lbs.

I think we already have enough projects at linebacker however, Jarvis Jones was a bust at 6-3, 245. If they can get Reddick for peanuts, it might be worth it to see how he plays in a 3-4.

Many here were very high on Reddick during the 2017 draft I am all about checking him out. Reading Giants and KC are interested as well........

Of the two, Kansas City is likely to pull the trigger as Houston is going to have a hamstring issue that will keep him out and outside of Tanoh Kpassagnon, they really do not have much depth there.
