You know a DE’s job in a 3-4 is to eat blocks and open up things for the guys behind them right?

It’s not all about what’s on the stat sheet for guys like Tuitt and Heyward. You have to actually watch the film.

 

Yeah, I get all that. I said they did a good job but far from "dominate" So most games when they are getting run over for 5 yards a pop why isn't everybody blaming them?

 

Because a heck of a lot of times those two are getting double teamed. At that point, it’s not up to them anymore. They have done their jobs.

You didn’t say earlier about any other game. You called them out in this game. They both played well against the Falcons.
