Need more of this. 1st week and today is how to get it done. Great job.

I don't think it's any coincidence that they didn't start in the hole and he had a good game. The line seemed to be on top of its game today too. They need to commit to running him.

It's also not a coincidence that because Ben was checking it down early we didn't go 3 and out

    Mmhmm.... interesting.

Of the 80 games within the previous five seasons Bell has played in (2013-2017), Le'Veon has missed 16 total in that five year span; three alone for the suspension and the rest of the 13 due to injury. Keep in mind that all of these games are the ones he not only played in but started in the Regular Season. That equates to Bell being available 80% of the time.

In comparison, James Conner has played all five games for the 2018 season and, among the 21 total contests thus far in his career, only missed two games within that time frame (Weeks 16 and 17) of the Regular Season. This means that James Conner is available 90% of the time.

    In short?

    90% > 80%

    Again...

They seemed to be making much more of an effort to give Conner more plays off. Maybe that helped.

He has fumbled in each of his big games, which is a concern.

Please Look up Steelers winning percentage when #7 throws less than 38 times a game?

    It goes way up.

I voted “yes,” but I’d prefer him to be more of a lead back than a bell cow back. I’m generally not a big fan of having one guy get nearly 100% of snaps. I would like to find a good complementary back in the draft or FA, but I don’t see a need to find a replacement for him - just a better complement than Ridley.

I voted yes, but I`m concerned he could be a serial fumbler. Didn`t he fumble in the Browns game that seemed to turn it around for the worse? He has to secure the ball.

Watch that play again, nearly had his helmet ripped off along with his head. Before he could get his bearings, the defender swatted the ball out of his hands.

He's had 2 in 5 games, hopefully no more. Bell fumbled 3 times last year and 4 times in 2016.

With what ever happens ,if and when Bell returns. It be crazy to take James Conner out of the game plan. He has become a real treat in the passing game, and he is picking up pass rushers a lot better this season. I hope he keeps it going and runs all over the Bengals!

Maybe he just needs to be a little bit more consistent. We have a really good offensive line and good to great people receivers on the outside. So those games that he only gets 20-30-40 yards need to be at least 60-70-80 yards.

You had several points. First, I don't think having multiple quality players on a playoff run is a distraction, it is a good problem. Second, I'm not sure that I ever was for trading him, perhaps in a moment of frustration. If he leaves, Steelers get a 3rd round pick. If by trading him we upgrade to a 2nd round pick, great, but that doesn't help us this year. I would rather he come in a play this year to help this team win games.

He is not in game shape for at least a couple of games IMO + who knows what kind of attitude he will have seems he is a pretty selfish player . And im pretty sure he he woudnt want to share the ball with conners but we will see i guess

He doesn't have a choice regarding sharing the ball with Conner. Also, we saw yesterday that Conner held up better with another back spelling him. Bell wanted to whine about getting too much work. I really don't care what he might say about not getting enough. He should have shown up sooner if he wanted to be the man.

I will tell you this, IF bell comes in after week 7. He will either not play or play like CHIT. He doesn't have to show any team who has interest in him anything however, he will play to not get hurt. And we all should be believing the same thing. e has said he didn't want to get used up or hurt. I would stay away from him and keep him away from the team. Save the 14 mill. We aren't getting anything for it

Bell's trade value going up with these RB's around the league getting hurt but that could also be means to not trade him as well.

cannot remember which running back walked around the steelers facility with the ball as punishment and other players would spend the week trying to knock it out of his hands. Anybody know?

The dude ran his ass off this last game. Very nice to see. I think he has a chip on his shoulder with all the Le'veon talk.

He is the legit starter on the Steelers. I think it'd be wrong to take away his job and give it to Le'veon.

    It's Conner's time. Le'veon made his choice.
