Even if it means having to repeatedly watch Danny Smith chomp on 20 pieces of bubble gum along the sidelines. ;)

THAT would be smart! 2nd winningest coach among active coaches, no legitimate replacement (Real Steel and Mustard are not legitimate) called a good game today...….. Let's get rid of him!

Yes they played great, But 1 game does not make a season, 3 playoff wins in the past 7 years , yea he is the 2nd coming

Yet to have a losing season, been to 2 SBs, won one of them, that's a little better than one game! I think there needs to be a change too...……...at the END of the season. I haven't seen a Tomlin hater yet come up with a legitimate replacement so, by all means, be the Chargers or Browns and just grab any ol' warm body!

How well known was Tomlin when he was hired?

Whatever happens at the end of the year is gonna happen but the never had a losing record and who else is there arguments are tired to say the least. Good win today but we've seen bounce backs before. They will need to maintain all the good things we saw today. The schedule doesn't get any easier....hats off to the D and the scheme today. That should be the standard....

Is there an up and coming coordinator out there?

These reasons might be getting tired...………..to you but, the question remains. Who do you replace him with? Somebody, anybody throw some names out there. What's tired is the old, "Fire him, he sucks!" When they lose, it's Tomlin's fault. When they win, it's rarely because of Tomlin. Belicheat's not available. Some of the pop Warner coaches on here wanted Chucky! How's that working out for the Raiders. Is there a viable choice out there?

I'm not sure ,it's really not my job to know....just like it wasn't my job to find Tomlin. I like Tomlin and I'm willing to play out the season. It was a good win today but I will reserve judgement until the end. We showed today that we have the talent to be good when properly prepared and motivated by both the players and the coaches. I think the onus falls mainly on the coaches to come up with game plans that make sense especially on D. I think the O is just gonna live and die with Ben so the majority of the preparation falls on the coaches on D....Tomlin being a defensive coach I'm expecting the responsibility to be his to fix what is wrong. Today was a step in the right direction but consistency is the key....IMO

Why limit the choice to up and coming coordinators?

If it were to be an up and coming coordinator, here's a few: (current NFL DC's)

Just because, right now, any good head coaches are already employed. Or dead!

    I'd promote Munch.

Obviously if this is how the Steelers perform the rest of the season, no one is going anywhere.

You think he could be a head coach? He does a great job where he is...….If he has the aptitude, I'd be for it.

If something were to happen midseason...yes.
If it's at the end I would want to go outside the org. and keep Munch where he is...
