Ok emmitt smith last season first 3 games let's use that, barry sanders, walter Payton, lt, any great back. If connor has better stats than their first 3 games in the last season they played that means he's overall better than them right since you are submitting hes better or comparable to leveon based on the first 3 games leveon played last yr with no offseason.

i never said that he was better, worse or anything of the sort. you did. i simply showed you that you were wrong genius. he has better stats than bell so far in his 3 games that he's been the starter for the steelers. pretty comparable stats which you won't acknowledge. quit making yourself look silly kid.

Wow, you put a whole lot of words in my mouth there. Guess you have to since you cant argue a debate based on its merits.

Giants run blocking is graded slightly lower than ours.

Read my post again, I said Conner has to keep it up the whole year.

I never argued or made any statement about working out and football shape. You're babbling because Im making you look stupid.

Yes, Bell has led the league in yards after contact the last 2 years. Great.

A large part of Bells receiving is check downs. I doubt you've compared routes, you just like pulling things out of your ass.

What routes are you referring too? Does he run the whole route tree like a WR? I only see a flat route, slant, wheel, F angle, some hitches and dump offs. Since you absolutely played football then you know that those routes are run by every RB that plays football from HS through NFL right. Let the season develop and Randy put Conner in the slot he will run the same routes. Your acting like Bell is the second coming of Jesus to football. He is an above avg talent that got drafted by the best fit for him, top 5 QB, top 3 WR top 3 Oline kind of makes Bells job a lot easier, but you know that because you absolutely played football. From here on out Conner is the man and he will continue to perform at a high rate because of the rest of the TEAM.

    Oh. My. God.

Here’s the point: Bell produces on the ground and through the air. The Steelers don’t have him. They’re finding ways to get essentially equivalent production from someone else. Go Steelers!

I have ceased to try to debate logically with him. He goes off on irrelevant tangents when he is countered with facts.

Well, no trade deal yet for Bell so I`m thinking the market for him in this situation is small.

BTW. Wondering if Bell has to take drug tests while he is not playing. I`m thinking maybe he could have already decided to sit out a loooong time and that would give him a window where he could smoke pot for a while. That`s if he is not getting tested.

No testing from what I understand he is not employed by the NFL yet and doesn't have to play by their rules. But you can bet the minute he signs they will have a cup waiting for him.

I have to believe the offers are on the table and the team is trying to squeeze the most out of them. They also need to Bell and his agent to play ball.

And what are you concluding about his stats? Please explain. What does one player having better stats than x player mean? And lol I never ONCE SAID bell was the best due to stats. I use the eye test.

Proves you what you know about football. Any football player would tell you the only way to get in football shape is to PLAY FOOTBALL. When leveon comes back this yr he will start out slow again. Doesn't matter if he is working out everyday no workout can get you into the flow of football.

He caught 85 balls last yr. All of them werent check downs. He can run the whole route tree and was split out wide A LOT. I saw bell catch slants, speed outs, he even scored on a 9 vs jax. Of course he's not consistently running every play a route from the wr tree but he has ran a lot of routes from the slot and outside and made plays doing so. He has been recognized by literally everyone as the best all around back in the NFL and some players and analysts have even concluded(which I disagree with) that he should be paid like a rb and a wr... I dont agree with that as I don't think he is a top notch wr but he definitely is a pretty good one and a great back all in one. And you keep looking at stats, stats, stats and stats. You all talking about me being a milenneinal but the majority of the guys that preach stats and Analytics are MILLENIANLS. Use the eye test. Anyone with a brain knows our oline is FAR SUPERIOR to the giants horrible oline. And they havent clauclated for week 3 yet but through week 2 the giants had the WORST RANKED run blocking offensive line per profootball outisde in the nfl. Here is a link

They all feed off eachother. It isnt just one and the other. And every rb does not run those routes. Have you seen ap ever running those routes? No because he wasnt efficient at route running nor catching. Every rb does not that's why there is a such thing in the nfl as a 3rd down rb. And I'm glad you said what you said about the situation he was put in. I can name others that have been put in similar and maybe even BETTER situations and never was considered the best rb in the nfl. Why didn't dominic rhodes or joseph addai put up numbers like faulk did or edgerrin james did in indy with peyton a top 5 qb like pitt, TWO TOP WRS marvin Harrison and reggie wayne a top oline, etc..? Why didn't no with brees in his prime have a running back put up numbers like alvin kamara just did until they got him? Why hasnt gb as of yet have a rb put up those numbers even when they had that team in 2010 who won the sb? Why werent any of these guys considered by the michael irvin's, deion sanders, shannon Sharpe, eric Dickerson, Marshall faulk before he got in trouble at nfl network, cris carter, even jason Witten on air on Monday night all acknowledge the hof level talent bell is. Everyone OUTSIDE OF STEELER NATION who isnt butt hurt because a guy turned down a contract acknowledges who leveon is. HIS OWN PEERS ranked him as the BEST RB and A TOP 5 PLAYER in the nfl per the top 100 nfl players list of 2018. Stop with the nonsense.

You can't debate worth a damn. You're fighting to many fronts and mixing up posters. I never said anything about you being a millennial.

I never said every pass was a check down, I said a lot of them are. Just like not every pass to JC is a check down. Stop making **** up.

PFF has the Giants rated above the Steelers run blocking. I saw JC running into brick walls this season just like SB. In case you haven't noticed, Steelers line is dealing with injuries, its not great right now.

I know, you don't like stats because they prove you wrong. fact is, JC is balling about the same as the guys you keep shining on.

Never said he doesnt run into a brick wall. I said any runs I've seen him have that were big or for positive gains were through the middle in a gaping or pretty big hole. I didnt see him make any spectacular game changing runs or plays like a Gurley, leveon, Zeke, saquon , kamara etc.. his moves are limited. He doesn't have a full array of moves in his arsenal and cant break you down and make several people miss. He's just a straight line fast hard nosed runner and a pretty good one. That's not what I'm disputing but his overall skillset period does not compare to leveon. A lot of that stuff you see those guys make is pure talent and instincts. They just have that gift. And with how bad this defense is I believe we require a offense transcendent at all levels like kc is in order to win. If we had a earl thomas in the secondary and Khalil mack upfront I'd be all for us with no leveon going foward but the problem is we dont to beat an elite level level team. This team with ben alone at qb is good enough o win the division as I dont believe innit and like I told you all before the season our biggest comp will the browns WITH baker. Not if they had kept tyrod in.
