The rule is a joke. QB's are grown men, they should be able to take hits.

To be fair, that was technically a correct roughing the passer call and would have been one for years. That said, it was really, really weak.

I get the concern with two starting offensive linemen out, but they need to at least try some intermediate passes. So far, it is all quick deep balls and short stuff.

That makes two third-down pass plays that had no chance at all of netting a first down.

 

Wasn't it 4th and 5? On the offsides?

 

Can we get Dungy to take over the box from these announcers? Oy.
