Steelers will be in 1st place a week from today if...

1. They win tonight in Tampa and Sunday night at home against the Ravens.

2. The Bengals lose in Atlanta this Sunday which is definitely possible.

3. The Browns lose in Oakland on Sunday who are 0-3 and are due to win a game.

If all this happens a week from today the Steelers will be 2-1-1, the Bengals and Ravens will both be 2-2, and the Browns will be 1-2-1. So the point of this is people need to relax some it’s still way too early and a lot can change here in 6 days.

 

These night games suck. There will be 4 consecutive 1pm games after Ravens next week.

 

Yep Atlanta at home , at Cincy, bye week, Browns at home, and at Baltimore all 1 o clock games.

I do as well still think we will win the division but we aren't going anywhere in the playoffs. Bengals and ravens look ok but I still think we can win the division. Tbh I'm more worried about the browns and baker than the benagals and ravens.

Falcons definitely should have won this game today. It’s going to make them even more desperate now next week coming in 1-3 and needing a win. And more importantly it makes winning this game tonight against the Ravens even more important for the Steelers as they cannot afford to fall behind both the Bengals and Ravens who would both be 3-1 to the Steelers 1-2-1. So this game is critical for the Steelers to win tonight with the Bengals winning today.

 

And as a side note also there are a lot of teams now in the AFC who are 3-1. Both the Jags and Titans are 3-1, the Chiefs are 3-0. The Bengals 3-1, Miami 3-1, and the Pats destroyed Miami today and are 2-2 but back on track. And if the Ravens beat the Steelers tonight you can add them to the list of teams at 3-1. So with all that being said my point is you can’t afford to fall behind 6 or 7 teams who are 3-1 by 2 games a month into the season. It’s going to make getting a wildcard spot that much harder as well.

 

Still plenty of season for Icarus to fly too close to the sun.
