It's not the end of the world. Steelers need a bad year, so coaches can be fired and non-productive players can be cut. Yeah, it's gonna suck watching them lose more often than not this year... but a much needed house-cleaning is in order. Sad thing is... this should have happened in January immediately after the loss to the Jaguars. It's too damn late now. Too many bad decisions... like keeping Bell, not firing Butler, Porter, etc....has come back to haunt the Steelers.

Tomlin: “No, I’m looking forward to visiting with him today and discussing that and some other things. I’m not going to get into the details of why he wasn’t here or whether he was excused and all of those things. I’m just going to leave those things in house.

I once thought Tomlin was bulletproof. Not anymore. For the first time, I truly believe there's a chance he gets fired at the end of the season (Pending another flameout).

Losing solves everything . If this gets rid of MT..Butler and Ben...that would be my SB win.

Art Rooney 2 won with Dan Rooney's coaches and players...he sucks too. Sell the team to better owners.

Have you seriously never heard that expression?

It means there's no order, no discipline, pure chaos. The people who are supposed to have control are ineffective and the people they're responsible for are running roughshod all over them. Like if the crazy people in the asylum were in charge instead of the doctors, orderlies and guards.

If you read more into it than that, that's on you.

And FYI, the patient-residents of an asylum are called “inmates”. It’s not a prison reference.

AB on instagram -How ya feeling Pittsburgh?

I'm not in Pittsburgh so I can't speak for the whole city but the only logical response to that question is that I feel that

    It's a Great Day for Hockey !

Bob McNair said "We can't have inmates running the prison" and then had to publicly apologize for it....and has since said he should not have apologized as it was a saying that was misunderstood.

I still think he should of apologized , but for saying prison instead of asylum. Come on Bob!

I'm guessing he's just pissed that Ju Ju got more stats then him. That and maybe a couple plays in his mind he was open and Ben didn't throw it his way. He's done this before.

I personally don't give a rats ass about his feelings. They went to Ju Ju because AB was double covered. ZERO PICKS.

When Ben FORCED it to AB last week, he GOT TWO PICKS.

So he can cry up a river like the little baby he's acting like. We get the temper tantrum on the sidelines. He's a competitive guy, BUT he's supposed to be a leader on this team. Not showing up the Monday after a bad game is showing the opposite of leadership.

The problem is the Steelers are catering to this behavior. His reaction to not getting the ball is ridiculous. It's not like he wasn't targeted like 20 times in the game or anything.

I really think AB is injured, I think he has a pulled groin. He's trying to work through it and he isn't 100% and is frustrated.

I think that is a lot of it.

We were really lucky and fortunate in the '70s because we got a group of not only good football players but good people... a group that wanted to be together and wanted to be the best.

The single most important thing we had in the Steelers of the '70s was the ability to work together.

Everyone's job is important, but no one is indispensable.
