The big news in there is Burns ending up on the injury report. I don't like their chances much with their best cornerback likely to miss the game and the other starter at less than 100 percent.

Artie showing up on the list is a bit odd indeed; timing of it especially.

Injured a toe on Friday I don't think he's supposed to miss the game but best case is he's at least gimpy....Makes me really appreciate even more the fact we had our 30 year old injury prone starting CB as a gunner on STs. The stupidity of this coaching staff never ceases to amaze me....

Hopefully the pain is gone by Sunday. Keep in mind he was reported as limited. Granted, how limited is anyones guess.

Either way, I do like our chances with a 100% healthy Burns against a 100% healthy Hill than one without.

Really is a head scratcher. Tomlin deserves to be ripped for that one.

It's worse. Gunner is one of the toughest jobs in the NFL.

I still find it interesting that Munch turned down an interview for a head coaching job after the season. As if someone got in his ear, stick around Munch, wink wink.

Yeah I don't know if I subscribe to that theory but It do know that if there is a new HC in our immediate future I really hope he is a " attention to details " guy because I thnk that is exactly what this current team is missing. There are jus too many blatant head scratchers iwith this current regime. There are just so many lapses in better judgement with this coaching staff that even a idiot like myself can see there are some obvious mistakes being made....

If they make a change, Id like it to be him. You get the usual, but he did nothing with the Titans. Yeah, great, lets give him a chance with a team stocked with talent. Bet the results are different.

I'm not gonna shoot him down because honestly I don't know his style and strengths and weaknesses but I really think it today's NFL you need a detail oriented type of HC. If that's Munch so be it ....

You just described him. He's a tactician, that's why he gets the most out of the line, very detail oriented.

Wow, this thread took a turn already replacing Tomlin with Munchak

Finney will replace DeCastro and be just fine as he might be starting next season for Foster if they don't give him another short contract.

The Haden injury as been explained to the point of WTF is he doing out there as a gunner? Now he sits on the sidelines, thank goodness it's only a grade one injury, but as we have seen, hamstring injuries can be tricky.

Artie, oh Artie, calm down please. Please! Need him to give it a go today. Mahomes is licking his chops.

And then theirs Ben. We need Ben to have a bounce back game and hopefully the elbow doesn't hinder the effort.

    Enjoy game #2 Steeler Friends...

Secondary could be in trouble today.

Run D was very solid I thought last week which was the thing that impressed me most because I thought that was our biggest weakness. Need to stuff it again today and keep them in third and longs with the above mentioned Secondary issues.

And then there is Ben. Obviously he needs to play about 100% better than last week for us to win today. I think BJ can hold his own although Decastro is all world.

Man it seems like it early in the year to be dealing with all the issues we seem to have. Hope these injuries don't hurt us today or for a long period of time
