Not sure but I thought the idea of keeping only 3 OLB was that Thomas was gonna see some time on the outside. When push came to shove Chickillo got the call. Maybe it's just too early to trust Thomas or maybe they didn't really have that much confidence in him playing that position. I think if Chickillo is our 2 nd or 3 rd best option at OLB we are gonna struggle with production at the position. OA is what 9 weeks away still? If they have no faith in Thomas they should bring Adams up as part of a rotation. Maybe you catch lightning in a bottle. Watt can't do it all by himself he needs a decent bookend....

I still want to thank Green Bay for not drafting him and letting him fall to the Steelers. This kid is something special and gives me that feeling I haven't had since Green and Lloyd were terrorizing QB's.

    Uh...

Where did this level of pondering originate from? For that matter, why would such a thing materialize?

    Ah. I see.

Could have sworn he was being a bit serious there for a minute. Then again, when you have a good amount of alcohol in your system like I do currently, differentiating and dicessting different aspects within ones statement is a bit difficult.

Tunch and Wolf were talking about this on their show Monday. I don’t know how accurate it is, but they said he only done this twice. They said but fans act like he did it on every play which just isn’t true.
    Bud had a solid game.

Besides Shazier he’s been the only defensive player worthy of a first round pick since 2013 which have all been defensive players.Burns and Edmunds were reaches no matter how we spin it.We’ll wait on the Edmunds pick which is just an opinion which I hopes pans out who could have been had in the third probably.TJ is definitely the real deal.Your pick in the first round better be a legitimate player who excels or you kind of wiffed on that pick.Since 2013 we’ve wiffed quite a bit which might explain our defensive problems now.Tj by leaps and bounds stood out last year and has a great start in 2018!!!

Deion and Jones-Drew were arguing last night on 21 and prime about TJ Watt vs. JJ Watt. Prime said... come back to me when TJ Watt wins DPOY. Jones-Drew said TJ Watt already has more sacks in one game than most edge rushers get in a year.

It's nice to see Davis not leading the team in tackles.

I actually noticed Davis making several plays. I don't remember seeing that much last year.

Is a QB hit different than a QB pressure or a QB hurry and if a player get a sack is he also credited for a QB hit/pressure/hurry, if a pressure/hurry are the same thing as a hit?o_O

its widely advertised jj has helped tj with pass rush moves. they both come off the edge. you can call the spot willie if you want but they come from the same place against offensive tackles.

Actually I think Davis lead the team in tackles last year because nobody else was making the tackle. (D-line, Lbs)

It certainly wasn't any great work on his part, though so far he looks much better now that he is back at free safety.
