How about the best record since 1970?


How about having only three coaches in that span?


Not having a single losing decade?



Do those count as aspects that would be correct?

 

I meant the rubber band gun as a toy I once built when I was a kid. I don't have one now but now that you bring it up I might actually have a use for it. Might have to make one again.

The fox usually only comes around at night to look for rib bones I throw out. He or she barks at you and will scare the hell out of you if you don't know it's there. Lately it's been coming around in the day time. I surprised it yesterday by standing still. It came up my road and didn't see me until it smelled something at about 25 feet away but it didn't know where I was. They and the deer have trouble distinguishing objects that are standing still. Their sense of smell is incredible but that doesn't give them precise location information.

Most likely, I'll probably never actually get a P-51. They're going for over $1m now, but you never know.

Haha...I waited a few hours to check back in and saw Matrix's reply and the ensuing replies.

Now, I just signed back on and found 7 pages of the same stuff...I feel a tad guilty about creating a thread that has turned into this.
Message boards will always have a few members that can create or reply to threads that turn into this. so it's all good. What I'm intrigued by is a poster that complains about the negativity, but instigating a lot more negativity than my OP created. Matrix, you're blaming everyone else for that, but you basically tried to pick an internet fight and attack me with that reply. As I said, my OP could have been less negative, but I felt it was from the heart and with some tact and your angry attack was unnecessary.

I appreciate everyone welcoming me and going out of their way to let me know Matris is not indicative of the majority here andI totally recognize that. Seems like a great group of knowledgable fans overall.

There will always be a select few that create this stuff and they almost always know exactly what they are doing and relish the attention...

Take it as a badge of honor from the board that your initial post sparked such a fiery albeit off topic discussion and absolutely nothing wrong with your original post or posting when you are frustrated by what you see happening to a team you are emotionally invested in. We recently did the worst loss thread again and many of us are still upset by the loss in 94 to the Chargers in the AFC championship so yes emotions run deep. I think you got a good representation of some of the personalities around here and once you get used to everyone's personal quirks its loads of fun.

Because of the OP post that Ben is regressing and Tomlin is horrible bs.

Ben played poorly. He is rusty and will need to get better but he will. It was one game. I think even the biggest Steeler hater knows we're going to win a lot of games this season. And Tomlin's winning percentage is one of the highest in the NFL and better than Cowher's. These so called fans flip flop with the wind. If we win they suddenly pretend to be big time Steeler fans. If we lose they hate on us as if they could have gone out there and played better.
