saying he will have an MRI in the morning. Fingers crossed its nothing serious as that would be devastating to our secondary

I thought it was a hamstring? Did I hear wrong on that front?

They probably want to see if there is a tear in the hamstring hence the MRI. Either way, hamstrings can be a real problem and can last a very long time. My son had one that would not get better and ruined his running career. So, I'd rather see a sprained ankle than this hamstring junk. If pulled significantly, it can take weeks for it to heal.

That injury is right there with the turnovers as a reason for the loss. I know Sutton came up with an interception, but he also got torched twice as the Browns rallied, including the tying touchdown.

We can’t afford to lose Hayden too long as his absence showed when he went down!Hope for the best!!

Yeah it'd suck royally if it's a hamstring. He's out 4-6 weeks probably at least. Takes forever to heal right. Injuries are part of the game though. People need to step up.

This would be a major blow if it is torn. Still going to miss games even if it's not. The only silver lining I guess that it happened the 1st game.

Please, just stop and rejoin us in reality. You're comparing a scrub who looked good against guys who are pumping gas right now to a Hall of Famer who had a bad game.

Honestly, the Haden injury may be far more costly than the tie. Even with the interception, Sutton was horrible yesterday. There is a huge drop-off as long as Haden is out.

Seriously? They keep Matakevich, Heyward-Bey and Behre for special teams and they still have their top corner out there? WTF?

That decision already cost them a tie. I wonder how many more games it will cost them.

is it a concern haden is out again for the 2nd year in a row? I am a little worried because the drop off is huge obviously.

I think our defense as a whole can be borderline elite, but the problem will be health. so if any of our starters get hurt it turns into garbage.

Injury problems aren't new for Haden, but his talent is worth the risk. I just hope he isn't out for long.

Was seen walking without a limp through the facility today. Hopefully that's a good sign

True, but Sutton did play it well. He was in good position and made the play. Sadly, he didn't do that on the tying touchdown drive.

Actually, he was in great position on the TD. Gordon just made a big play... It happens.

He was there, but didn't make the play. On the completion to set it up, he was badly beaten.

Time to see if Bradley's teachings will assist young Sutton; Burns doubly so. They will need them.

The likes of Sammy Watkins and Tyreek Hill are not slouches in the least.

Steelers CB Joe Haden has a mild (grade one) hamstring pull, per source. That’s a good sign for the Steelers, but they won’t push it. He’s not a lock for Week 2 matchup with Chiefs unless it heals correctly early in the week. Early signs are positive, though.
