Ben’s worst games as a Steeler

It’s early, the weather was awful and bad games are a part of football, but where would you rank yesterday’s performance by Ben on his worst ever?

It was REALLY bad. No attack on the Browns, but Ben had open receivers all game. I mean, he missed multiple wide open targets.

 

I’ll have to look at the coaches film later in the week, but I’m not sure AB was wide open all day.

Couldn’t see on the TV pictures, but seemed he was double covered a lot of the time. The real question is who that left open, and why that wasn’t exploited more given the WR talent we have.

 

They were double and sometimes triple teaming AB. He was not wide open.

 

I wanna know why he hardly ever looked Jesse James way. With lots of blitzing, find the safety valve, that is usually the TE.

 

Is the coaches film available on NFL game pass? That's one of the reasons I ordered it but I only saw full game or condensed game as viewing options.

 

It is, but it’s not usually up until later in the week.

 

No way Im buying that AB was wide open all game long.

I'd say this game was in the top 5 worst games for BB. He looked lost half the time and his accuracy down right stunk. He'll bounce back he always does. 6 TD game coming soon.

 

I rewatched the game on coaches film and AB wasn't open one time when he wasn't targeted. He was still covered pretty tight when he was targeted. He was kinda open on the final play of overtime, if Ben could throw it 70+ yards. I also learned: AB does not block, Connor needs to work on his blocking, Myles Garrett is a monster and had a lot to do with Ben's mistakes.

 

Um, There were 3 players around AB when Ben threw that pick.

Twitter really brings out the dumbness in people.

 

Bc he couldnt catch anything Sunday?

 

To be fair the one he got the pick on was a little high and behind.

Also, he was wide open late in the game. I have a feeling Ben was hurt by that point though.

One more point. There isn't much at WR behind AB and JuJu at this point.

No one is afraid of Hunter. Washington isn't ready. There's absolutely nothing that says even if they get a wide open pass , that they're going to be able to take it to the house!

 

He caught a long one on sunday along the side line, and he caught a couple 8- 10 yarders.

The bad one was one he let go through his hands for an INT

 

I could be wrong but I have noticed the last few years that after Been has a bad game there is always something wrong with him.

 

Maybe because he let one go right through his hands that resulted in an easy pick? Idk.

That was one of Ben’s worst games as a steeler. Let’s hope that it’s the only one like it this year
