There fixed it for ya Bobby. That Gumbo is a real smooth smoothie isn't he? Everything was tied today - the final score and Gumbo's tongue! I lost count at 5 the number of times he called him "John". Double :facepalm:

Connor played well, and I expected him to, but even though this is supposedly "the new and improved Browns" (which they seem to say every year), it's still the Browns. I hope to see him do as well against better teams.

Besides the unfortunate fumble, Connor played solid. Bell can sit out as long as he wants. That being said I feel like some do, you need to spell a few carries with other backs. He was a bright spot on an otherwise dismal offensive performance by the QB and offensive line pass protection.

Zeke doesn't have the outside threats on his offense that connor does so therefore they can play man and stack the box against him. And even then he still played pretty decent. And if you think a game defines him vs Zeke you are delusional Zeke is the best pure runner in the nfl right now.

    You're argument is wrong.

Richardson was not superior to any of them.

    Try again.

I'm gonna agree with you on this. Zeke is a bull who has power and crazy speed. Best runner bar none. JC is a watered down zeke lol.

Bell WAS almost as good as LT pre-injury, now he is maybe top 5 back. Still better than Conner but I feel comfortable with conner and company going forward.

I think Conner is the real deal. Cleveland actually has a good defense... seriously. Conner ran for over 100+ yards with relative ease. Only question is.... is he gonna be durable or another V. McDonald?

With the horrible weather and first time starting, pretty good. However, one game doesn't tell the tale on how he'll do throughout the rest of the season but its a good start for sure. Bell didn't do as well last year so he can stay away and keep losing money each week he will never make up.

it's because dak fell off the planet lol. once they realized dak cant throw far everyone stacks the box and blitz's him.

this is why Sanders is the GOAT. Insane numbers with THAT team/qb.

Out-of-game-shape Bell would have been lucky to get 50 yards total. Truth.

conner showed the all purpose ability i wanted to see. now he has to do it week in and week out. we shall see. MT has to use the other backs as well. fresh legs means a lot to our run game and against a tired defense. bad coaching there.

That haircut is fkn horrible. If he was a rookie, I would think the vets made him do it, but to think he opted for that on his own. Damn...

Couldn't agree more! I was pretty confident with Conner before the game started but he exceeded my expectations. Very happy for him!

Well if you're gonna hand him the ball, throw him the ball and expect him to pass block the entire game, not to mention he had his leg almost snapped in half and not give him a breather by inserting a I don't know 5 or 6 year veteran that has played at I high level for a perennial SB contender at RB. I would probably say he isn't gonna last. I don't know what the hell Tomlins problem is. Get a clue....just like the time he left Ben in the game against SF and just watched him get bludgeoned for absolutely no reason.....
I swear sometimes he leaves you with the impression he has no idea how to manage a football game once it starts....

And yet, his production was at Bells level.

I'll make polls however I like. Feel free to make your own :thumbs up:

I agree with you, his hurt, mainly due to fact it got returned for almost a TD. But you can't fault connor main reason we got as many points in the game.
