    Theres still another possibility. Bell and his agent are lying. With no contract signed, theres nothing official from the Steelers and the Steelers don't share information like that. The beat writers don't even have this information, why would Rapport. Did the Steelers ever make an official announcement on what they offered?

    I would think the bonus/guarantee would be more in line with AB's. Seems fishy to me.

    I read that article as saying the Steelers can use the roster exemption at their discretion, and they only have to work with Bell on what he’d be paid during the week(s) he’s exempted.

    Bell tweeted this out in May. So what changed? Maybe there is something to the test rumors.



    On another note, one of his best friends just died. Who knows what affect that will have on him.

    There was an interesting read. I will look for the article later. But basically says if Bell waits until week 10 he would have lost 8.5 million. Any contract after that would equal the 70 million offer we had for him with guaranteed money. The article definitely laid it out better than I have.

    My other question is. Is this the Steeler's own doing? They could have taken a little workload off of Bell. Maybe that way he doesn't get gaudy stats and won't ask for as much.

    David Johnson signed a three-year, $39 million extension with the Cardinals on Saturday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. The deal is worth up to $45 million and includes $30 million guaranteed.

    How much does dumbass want? I'd rather have David Johnson.
