So much for the teammates not getting pissed. Way to enter the season on another unnecessary distraction!

    Per NFL.com

What do you do? Here's a guy who does't give a damn, I guess so we'll treat it as such. I just hate it came to this," Ramon Foster said, per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. "He's making seven times what I make twice as much as Al (Villanueva) is making and we're the guys who do it for him."

Maurkice Pouncey is clearly DONE w/ Le'Veon Bell's absence. Says hed much prefer Bell just say when he's going to show up, even if it's Week 10: "Why play hide and seek? Why let your agent say this? Just man up and tell us what you're going to do.

DeCastro on Bell -- "Just sit out the whole year then."

For those of you who think his teammates are supporting him, it sure dosent sound like it. They actually sound pretty pissed.

The Steelers should have put a stop to this nonsense a long time ago. Welcome to another season of Steeler drama, I mean football.

If Bell shows up right before the first game I surely hope Tomlin benches him for the entire game.

And they did but we were talking about camp and as recently as a few days ago they were singing a different tune. Missing games when it counts is apples to oranges.

I don’t think Bell listens to anyone but Bell. His agent wanted him to take last years offer, Bell turned it down.

    B. S. Dude.
You can tell by the comments that are being made that they Just didn’t flip a switch and get mad. This has been brewing for a while. I believe they just been trying to keep it in-house.

Yeah... someone will sign him long-term because he's Leveon Bell, but dude isn't doing himself any favors. Unless basketball and baseball, NFL owners are stricter when it comes to the type of personalities they want in their clubhouse.

Have fun with the Jets, Lev!

Looks like those defending Bell lost their best argument, such as it was. The team has bailed on him just like he's bailed on them two years in a row. I know this will never happen, but I wouldn't play Bell one snap this year. He doesn't want to be here and he is NOT going to give 100 percent. I brought this up before about him and was assured he'd be professional and play hard. Well his agent just shot that full of holes by admitting they are afraid the team will wear him out. He's unnecessary drama and a cancer and will do more harm than good. I'd rather lose without him than win with him at this point. I'm not going to sell my soul for a victory especially when there is no certainty he's going to even try. Time for the organization to do the difficult, but right thing and bench this selfish piece of garbage.

Unprecedented reaction by teammates, especially the Oline.

Steelers are in a bad spot now.

Almost certainly have to work out a trade now, although Conner has to prove he can be the guy first.

I just hope Connor goes out and balls out against the Browns. Leveon might show up quickly then.

Bell out week 1 to preserve long term health.

man get out with that BS. seems like he just wanted more and more and before footballanalyst98 chimes in that he deserves it, no he doesn't he is being a A$$hat about everything. I hope he blows both knees and loses out on any potential money he could've had.

blowing both knees out hitting strippers buttcheeks would be funny.

Conner is going to start but why not get Bell in there? Benching him just gives him what he wants, money without having to work.

The thought that his teammates were ever more worried about Bell getting paid, then they were trying to win as a team is just silly. These guys want to win. The players have been saying all the right things up until now, and now frustration has boiled over.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion but it makes no sense. He can’t gain anymore money by sitting out which is why players do it. This is purely selfish doing this when the games count. I’m sure his teammates preferred he be there in camp but this is completely different.

I've been watching Steelers football my whole life, and I've never seen comments like this. Maybe James Harrison to the Pats last year, but boy I never seen a fellow player use the f word and say f that guy.

    WOW.

Whoever said they were worried about him getting paid? Just that they understood his concerns about getting hurt in camp.

Why are people so mad about him sitting right now? He's been the most worked RB for the past few years and the Steelers low balled him 2yrs in a row with the low guarantees. NFLPA really messed it up by agreeing to the crappy CBA. Franchises shouldn't be able to tag a player twice.

What's wrong with skipping two months of work and still getting $14 million? That's not bad advice. I will take that advice any day. You're all thinking like fans instead of lazy athletes who only care about getting whatever money they can get and don't care about winning.

Just read that. You know it's bad when your offensive line is going public about their frustration with you. If you lose them you lose me.

Release Bell. Stick with Conner. Conner has the offensive line's respect.

Get rid of Bell. I don't care how they do it.

Take Foster’s comment for example. You don’t start talking how little you make compared to Bell just cause you got upset today. This screams of something that has been brewing in his teammates minds for a while.
In my opinion these guys of been mad at him for a while.
