I am a glutton for punishment. I have been a fan since the mid-70's from a very young age growing up in Iowa. I love the Steelers, but there are things about the organization and Tomlin that drive me bananas. Tomlin is a BS artist, all sizzle, no steak, all style, no substance. I hope we can win another SB while Ben is here because after that, we will be entering a dark time.

 

For me personally what I try to keep in perspective is the fact that from my point of view what may seem to make the most sense isn't always the case.
And there lies the problem, for some reason fans think that they know more than the professionals.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of these guys that only bitches. I love the Steelers, I take tremendous pride in being a fan of a class organization. It just seems like we are wasting our prime years sometimes and it wears on me.

Getting back on topic, regarding the safeties, should the likes of Nat Behre, Jordan Dangerfield, Malik Golden and Marcus Allen all underperform on Saturday, perhaps someone like Obi Melifonwu would be of interest?



Pittsburgh did attend his Pro Day and he had a Pre Draft Visit prior to the 2017 NFL Draft. The interest was there then. No reason to assume it will not be as of now should anything bad happen on Saturday.

 

I read the raiders cut him because of injuries, and they question his love of football no thanks.
