Why because you say so...someone already posted a tweet from la Canfora but I guess you choose not to make him one of your credible sources because it doesn't fit your agenda....you think what you want and I'll trust the FO at least until the guy plays a goddamn game. Like TSH2188 said the Steelers have their own board and ideas who they like and how they plan on utilizing them....
I've already clarified that I wasn't talking about the value of a 1st or 3rd. I told you it was a obvious miscommunication that you keep on harping on ....you are saying that he was taken earlier than he needed to be....that's your opinion ,not mine and not the Steelers FO.

OK, we got 3rd round talent in the first round with TE. And we got 1st round talent in the 3rd round with MR. It all evens out.

We'll see. So far undrafted players are lighting it up... Patterson and Adeniyi. I bet Edmunds, Washington and Rudolph will have better performances in the next 3 games.

Yeah but you're missing the point....."obviously " we could of selected anyone ranked by the Farmers Almanac or any other credible sources ranked higher than TE and the draft would of been a automatic success rivaled only by the 74' draft. Also keep in mind that 4 out of 5 dentist recommended not taking TE in the first and if we had listened to all the experts,we would of been like Lysol with a 99.9% chance of killing the draft...

In other news, Artie Burns and LJ Fort had a couple of ridiculous picks at yesterday's practice

One tweet equals pre-draft buzz? You're funny.

You aren't the only one arguing with me on this. I simply post that reaching is a mistake because you are basically trading away the higher pick. That is where the point that a first-round selection is much more valuable than a third-rounder comes into play. People are actually arguing that reaching a couple of rounds just because you like the guy is fine and that's just ridiculous.

I know I've said this before and I'll say it again. For what it's worth, I had the Colts in the board mock draft. I actually spent a fair amount of time researching who the Colts might actually take before the draft, especially since they had 3 2nd round picks. I went on their fan board and read some articles in the Indy Star. I can tell you the Colts were VERY HIGH on TE. At least their fans and the local media were. In one of their draft threads, posters were wondering if he could possibly fall to them at the beginning of the 3rd. The general consensus was that TE would be one of the Colts 2nd round picks.

In our board mock draft I took TE for the Colts at 3/3. If I wouldn't have taken him I believe Blast Furnace was going to take him with the next pick.

I am almost certain based off the research I did that TE would have been one of the Colts 3 2nd round picks. Keep in mind that I did this research and made that selection BEFORE the actual draft.

What does any of this mean? Nothing, just like every other opinion out there that is not Kevin Colbert's. But I remain absolutely convinced TE would not have been there for us in round 2.

We picked 6 spots ahead of the 2nd round. I did mention us taking TE in the first. I had seen him ranked top of second which many guys go to the next round up if that is a teams need. We had just dumped two safeties and waited last year and lost out on some safeties we wanted.

Sounds like Ed is right and AB is being overly sensitive.

Exactly, but a couple of knuckleheads will tell you 147 times with certainty TE would have been available when we drafted in the third, or that the Colts were idiots for taking him in the second.

No Ben or LJ vs the Packers it will strictly be Dobbs and Mason.

AB and Cam Heyward are not dressing for the game as well.

Bud Dupree will play as well as several dinged up guys having a chance to play.

FYI - this Thursday's game at Green Bay will be re-broadcast on NFL channel the same night at 11 pm PDT which means a very reasonable 2am EDT (get your naps early gents). And for Thigpen and Shaner, I believe that means early tea and crumpets with the Steelers. ;)

How do you get that Bouchette was right from that? It says that AB left early as planned which suggests to me it wasn't due to a limp.

Individual work and thats it. That statement is in contrast with no injury aggravation. Tomlin is playing lip service while his actions paint the real story.

Why would Ed make up that AB was limping? AB got pissed that he saw and reported on it.

    At least IMO.

If this were true, Jones would be starting on Thursday. Jones has #2 wrapped up. Obviously.
