With all this talk about James Washington tearing it up in practice, "strong hands, snatching the ball in the air, beating DB's constantly"...does he get the nod over hunter?

Hunter, Washington, DHB, dez, all fighting for that 3rd spot!

I think it goes to DHB if he can get healthy early in the season. I think Washington becomes the #3 as the season goes on. JuJu has been banged up a bit as well.If he was to be out I think Washington would be the starting slot WR .

Well after watching JuJu last year, I think Colbert, Tomlin, and Ficnther have no problem playing a rookie WR.

I think Hey Bey will get some looks, I think Hunter has a legit shot to get some reps as well.

But, I think Washington will get every chance to have the #3 WR job.

James Washington. I think DHB will predominantly play special teams again all year. Hope to see Hunter a good bit this year, especially in the redzone.

No love at all for Eli?? It will be Washington IMO. Sounds like hes ripping it up at camp. If its not I think Eli gets the spot if hes fully healthy.

It is going to be Washington unless his preseason is a disaster. Hunter is a fall-back at best. Heyward-Bey is a No. 4 at best.

AB,Juju washington. Hunter in the red zones and when we go 4 wide. I think Washington will make a lot of noise between the 20s. They are already working the red zone action with hunter in camp. You guys never read my stuff.:smiley1::cool:

No way does Hunter or DHB start ahead of JW. I don't see it.

Hunter and DHB both have playbook knowledge . This has a lot of value esp. early in the season. Talent wise I give JW the edge , but there is more to it than that.

Only f you want to? I still consider the 3rd. WR a starter as Teams run so much of it of course if you look at the starting roster no Team list more than 2 even though the 3rd.gets mad reps. Oh and a lot of those come at the start of the game.:duel::duel::duel:

I would think if the top 3 aren't : AB, Juju and Washington, in that order, it will be because someone got hurt, suspended, or Juju/Washington seriously disappoint.

I'm waiting for RPO to rise from the ashes and educate us all about how worthless saying 1,2, 3 are and how we all don't understand the nuisance of X receiver versus Z receiver versus Y and how clueless we are. That was priceless.

He disappeared as soon as the kneeling became a huge issue. He wasn't the only one though. Lots of people gave up on the NFL.

JMO but I think the DHB talk as a 3rd wr is way too much, I will be impressed if he makes this team. DHB is a stud on ST but now with us being thinner at WR I can see us giving that spot to a young guy with more offensive potential. We are loaded with young guys and they need to learn to play ST just like dirty Red did and offer more than just one dimension.
