As expected, he is having issues with pass protection. Then again, very seldom do rookie Running Backs enter the league proficient in said area.

As for his versatility, he is doing okay. Days one and two were good. Day three was his worst thus far. Rebounded on Sunday and yesterday was okay.

Not too much to write about from him thus far. Having the usual ups and downs of a rookie.

Long way to go and they are paying Bell big $$ but I agree. If James looks capable he should start with Bell spelling him the first few weeks. Get LB in football shape. I mean we all saw how slow LB started last year why repeat the same thing if James is more prepared? And trust me I’m not saying Bell doesn’t become the workhorse rather quickly

That was Joe Haden and Nat Berhe

Berhe looked really slow footed on that one...

That's why Berhe is a special teams guy, and not much else.

But some want to tout him as our FS depth. OK, good luck with that one, lets hope that doesn't play out

So far from what I’ve seen is

    -Conner is doing really well
    -Edmunds is solid
    -Artie improved
    -Vance exploded
    -Dirty red is just dirty
    -Mason subpar
    -Washington doing solid
    -Jesse James doing good
-The wind blew hard and half the Steelers went down
    -bell still can’t rap “eyyy”
-ben will never get rid of the double chin lol
-high expectations but injuries came early

Thank you. Berhe really did look horrible in that play. As others already posted, people need to stop talking about him helping much at safety. He is a special teamer. If he ends up seeing significant time in the secondary, the Steelers are in big trouble. That one play is just an example of why I post that.

    Looks that way.

    $90,000 signing, $790,000 salary, $880,000 package

So compared to DHB, Sensabaugh, and a couple of other special teams low on the depth chart guys, he won't move the cap needle much if they need to go sign a veteran ILB and need money to work a one year deal.

If they move practice indoors due to weather, do some/all/any fans still get to watch?

I saw him walking on water while levitating a post pattern to Moses. Does that count?

Ben didn't light it up in his first preseason either. I remember him throwing ducks to Burress. :lolol:

Big Al, James Washington and Ryan Malleck have all been injured today. None appear to be too serious.

Regarding Big Al, Chuks stepped in.

Essentially, he is the prime candidate for the swing tackle job. Have not heard much regarding the reps.

    Will get back soon!

But Watt Wack said we could've drafted Edmunds in the third round, and he had him pegged as a bust already .

I mean making a few plays in training camp means jack squat let’s see him play a game.

With that being said obviously Watt has some sort of personal vendetta against the kid so

For what it's worth when I got Terrell's autograph on Monday, he signed it like a first-round draft pick.

Any word on Jake Rodgers? I know chuks was getting the reps but who is after him at this point? Since Harris was cut and AV was out, who moves up in the pecking order? Rodgers? Feiler?
