So, a lot of it obvious. AB top WR at 99 (No player is higher than 99). Check.

Bell highest rated RB at 96. I'm not going to argue, but an argument could be made for Gurley, Elliott, David Johnson. Personally, I have a feeling Elliott might be the top dog this year. He has no suspension to deal with and he has a top gear that Bell lacks, as we witnessed when they beat us in 2016.

Heyward at 88. I'd push him into the 90's.

Ben at 88. Too low. He is a top 5 QB. That deserves 90's as well.

Shaz at 86. Why is he even listed? He isn't playing this season.

Haden 85. Maybe even a tad high.

    Pouncey 85. About right.

Dupree at 72 - one higher than Jordan Dangerfield - has to be motivation for him... surely...

    Odell Beckham at 95.

Dude is way overrated. His only claim to fame is the circus catch he made vs. Cowboys. He disappears in half of the games he plays in when he's not hurt.

As far as the Steelers are concerned... Bell and Pouncey are ranked a little high and TJ Watt is too low, IMHO. Other than that... pretty accurate.

Not only that, he distracts the team so much of the time, hurting team chemistry (but there is no factor of that in ratings, how could there be?)

He only has splash plays here and there, and other than that he is pouting and being a baby. He is no AB, who produces almost every game, steady as hell.

I think I am going to break down and buy a game system this year. Any advice?

I'm the wrong person to ask about game systems. Last game system I bought was a Wii over 10 years ago.... before that it was a Nintendo Super NES. :icon mrgreen:

I did have Madden, for Wii game system, with Polamalu on the cover after Steelers won Super Bowl XLIII.

Now I just use the Wii to watch Netflix on an older, non-smart TV.

I thought our players were pretty good.

As an aside, Jalen Ramsey at 97 was a tad high. He's good, but the best corner? I'm not sure.

Also, as a nitpick, Saquon Barkley with an 82 Str? That's way too low. It is like they just threw up a score just to have one.

Can't go wrong with either system. I've been a long time Xbox guy. I like my Xbox one but my son has a Ps4. In all honesty the Ps4 is better.

The last Playstaytion I owned was in '96. I've been Xbox ever since. But if I had to go out today and buy one, it would be a PS4. They are killing it with games right now. Xbox has fallen off the wayside since they have downgraded some of their features, and the ones promised have never come to fruition.

Jalen is either 1 or 2 in my opinion. He's that good.

Just because you don't like a guy (and for the record, I don't like him either) doesn't mean you can say he's overrated. Numbers speak for themselves. He's basically only played 3 years in the league (I don't count last year due to injury) and he's had a minimum of 1300 yards and 10 TD's every year. The last couple years Manning has been very mediocre and the whole offence has been terrible. Quite frankly, I think he can and will put up even better numbers than he has. If you watch him play, he's incredibly talented. He's anything but overrated if you're talking about strictly football abilities.

Just read an article where Heyward is challenging his Madden rating of 19. So funny. Challenge it by kicking butt this season big guy.

I'll believe it when I see it. Roethlisberger has been very mediocre, too... and AB is a thousand times better than Beckham.

He's the king of worrying about all the wrong ****. Heading into the playoffs and he's worried about not making the Pro Bowl. He earned that rating for his performance against the Jags in the playoffs.

I will challenge that about ben mediocre. Any big lineman with 7 dropping back destroys him, but does to most qbs. AB is a god
