I suppose the omission of the man in my avatar enacting a similar style of play during his prime is quite common among the fanbase?

I also suppose both Tomlin and Butler really have not the foggiest of what they are doing either? :hmm:

when has tomlin picked an undersized defensive player in the first round that was a disappointment?

What is Bleacher Report? I don’t read it. I just see it quoted here a lot.

The most intriguing aspect of said post was Watt Wack already compared both Peppers and Edmunds.

Now, as to how he switched up their weight is something I have not the foggiest.

Personally I feel as far as linebackers go giving Dupree the 5th year option was the biggest risky move. Just watch folks all the while Edmonds makes play after play. He was brought in to replace Shazier's playmaking in which he will, and has the flexibility to understand and play multiple positions. Oh and call signals as well. What's not to like?

I know and didn't even mention that one. Shazier didn't show up here much heavier either. It's about range and not taking on big RBs head on in the hole as many want to believe play after play.

I was not a fan of the TE pick in the 1st rd. But the Steelers made that pick for a reason, they have a plan I hope it works!

While size does mean something it doesn't mean everything ...... The Honey Badger was 5'9" at 185 Ilbs..... Jack Lambert was listed at 6'4" 220 LBs except his rookie season where he was 6' 3.5" and 204 LBs.

If you can play, you can play and let's hope TE can play.

Note: Lambert was the 1st Hybrid LB/safety in The Original Tampa 2 developed by Bud Carson!!!!!

I actually like Bleacher report.... Have the app on my phone.

Not because they are reporters but because they offer content that's interesting even if it originated somewhere else. Consolidating a bunch of sources cuts down on the number of places I go routinely. If they mention something worth while I'll dig deeper .

I will say their alerts pop up on my phone faster than the ESPN and NFL alerts do.

I also listen to coast 2 coast in the am, not for its gripping reporting but for Comic relief...

Dale Lolley ( before he moved)and Steeler depot are my favorites.....

If I have this right, it's not really a risk at all at this point. The 5th year is for 2019 and is not guaranteed. If he doesn't do well this year, they can cut him loose at no cost.

    OK. Let's have a party.
You may want to cut back a bit then.

Well, tell me what in-game adjustments they make if they are so super knowledgeable. I will wait for your example. Belichick makes them all game, every game.

I would suspect it’s guaranteed. The reason I say that is that Shazier was in the same situation and his salary the following year after his injury is guaranteed. Unless injury is different than stinking it up?

Cut back? No way. I quit for about 15 years. Not a drop. I just started having a few once in a while in the last year or so.
I’m on vacation at Panama City Beach this week so I’m going to have a few.

Just for comparison sake though, I’m sure you’ve started more silly threads in the last month than drinks I’ve had in the last year.
