I never learn a single thing, but to be fair, I'm not sure Noll or Cowher gave us any more insights than Mike does.

It's time to put up or shut up. I've grown weary of his worn-out cliches. If Mason Rudolph turns out to be the next franchise QB and the Steelers win #7 and Tomlin gets his 2nd ring... my overall opinion of him will improve. Until then... Tomlin needs to STFU and coach.

He still has to speak to the press though... and press conferences around the league, and in just about any sport, are the same old. Every so often you get someone have a breakdown, or someone get angry, or someone say something funny. But in general, it's just an exercise in press management these days.

Part of that is due to coaches and managers getting more media savvy, and part of it is due to the press blowing any comment out of proportion the second it's said. So it's a bit of a vicious circle, really.

I guess OP expects the HC to stand there and give the press his plans for the upcoming season .

tomlin is a great regular season coach, but at times he tries to pretend he makes these gutsy calls but in reality he lives in his fears and puckers up lol.

I dread the Bucs and Chargers games.

I can see Jameis Winston and Philip Rivers throwing for 500 yards.

How many rings does Reid have as a Head Coach? I cannot seem to remember.

    Care to jog my memory?

Reid has zero. And Tomlin has one with Cowher's team. Like Chukky with Dungy's team in Tampa.

Tomlin has two rings, he got a ring when he was on grudens coaching staff when they won the 2002 superbowl, but like they say, head coaches get stale after 10 years on the same team.......

I'm a bill man, but I compared stats between tomlin and cowher and all it showed was tomlin had a higher win percentage, same amount of sb wins/appearances in 3 less years.

Funny thing is...we'll be saying the same thing about the next HC....10, 15...years from now. He won with Tomlin's team.
