Steelers are not going to win in Oakland or New Orleans... write it in stone. Steelers won't get swept by the Ravens. Steelers will lose to a scrub team at least twice. I could see Chargers, Broncos, Browns and/or Bucs upsetting them.

    Could easily see 12-4.

They wont be worse than 11-5

And the biggest reason why? Heinz Mustard prediction! So rest easy Steelers fans, good season ahead :lolol:

With this schedule, 9-7 could happen. I am thinking 10-6.

I disagree and think people are too scarred by that Jax loss.

I see a team that won games last year that they used to lose and think they will just continue to build off of that. People say they shouldn't struggle with those teams, well they used to lose to those teams, next step is to beat them handedly.

They also showed they could beat NE even know they didn't record the win.

I also stated this when you created the 2018 Schedule Thread sometime ago.

I said that 14-2 was the ceiling and 11-5 was the floor; 12-4 for me.

I have not changed my stance then and am not going to. This "Jacksonville Jackhammer of Fear" really needs to cease. The immense level of psychological trauma is silly to the point of being made a comedy skit. :lolol:

The game is in Oakland. I don't know when the Raiders move to Las Vegas. Maybe next year? The official Raiders site still says Oakland.

Steelers are absolutely terrible in Oakland. Add Philly and New England, too.

Which Jax loss? Regular season or the one we had weeks to prepare for in playoffs at home? How many games did we win off of the kickers foot at the end of the game? They could have gone either way in my opinion and we easily could have been 10-6 or 9-7 last year. Hope something changes to keep us in the hunt when playoffs start.

Where you laughing when they caved our faces in, twice at home and in the playoffs?

And there it is karma works quick.

Reason number 1 of why you never make fun of someone else's grammar, sentence structure or how autocorrect on their smart phone messes up a post. Because sure as day becomes night you are going to suffer the same fate.

Playoffs. Tale of 2 tapes. 1st loss was due to Bens turnovers, five I think and the second was just an awful performance all around on the defense.

No style points whether you win on a TD pass or a FG, wins a win. Good teams win those close games.

Actually you could say it was Ben's turnovers again. Set the tone in that game. They needed to force Jax to play from behind and behind the chains. Didn't help with the field position they gave them.

And fact is, the Bills held them to 15 points. Made Bortles look just awful. Our arrogant team shows up and makes Fournette look like Earl Campbell and Bortles look like Dan Marino. They were not focused or prepared. You win some and you lose some, everyone does. No one wins every game, every year. But getting whipped like that is a bad sign.

I think 11-5 is a pretty safe prediction for several reasons.Chances of the Steelers going 13-3 again with a more difficult schedule ( NFC south) will be challenging and probably unlikely.Probability of sweeping the division two years in a row (division rivals usually play each other with more intensity) will be hard to achieve. The Steelers were a Boswell clutch field goal from a possible overtime or losing in a few games last season. Will face better quality quarterbacks ( not backups in a few games who looked like Dan Marino against us)like Drew Bree’s,Cam Newton and Matt Ryan to name a few.The good news is chances are we go deeper in the playoffs with the changes we made on the defensive side of the ball with coaching and personnel adjustments.
