Or just like Kirk cousins. The Redskins weren't willing to give him the long term money HE WANTED.. what did they do? Let him go. What did Carolina do with Josh norman? And ok he's also abusing that. He's not obligated to show up only when he signs the tag. He hasn't so therefore dont complain about what he's doing. Rescind the tag if you dont agree with his practice.

Maybe to you. But he obviously doesn't care what you or most fans criticizing him think or else he'd sign what they're offering him instead of what HE THINKS is in HIS best interest.

Well technically is doesn't get him more but does allow him to keep his full amount. Once he signs the tag he is required to be at team events and if he doesn't show he can be fined by the team. So while he would be fine for voluntary OTA's, not showing up for camp would lose him money. So not signing is just so he doesn't have to show up until September.

Exactly. If I was an AllPro, didn’t need camp, and didn’t give a crap about my teammates, you wouldn’t see me sign until just after camp.

Yep, one is a RB and one isn't. Of course that's only part of it. Bell apparently wants unreasonable amounts of money, but if we're being honest, him being a RB is why his demands are unreasonable. RB's don't last long and are easily replaceable.

I get Bell's frustrations. He plays a position that results in a lot of injuries. RB's don't last long in the NFL, so he wants a long term deal while he's still good, but the NFL has a system that puts the owners in an advantageous position over the players, for 2 years anyway.

I never said it would. How Is the steelers continuing to franchise tag him when they obviously wont agree on a deal helping him get the money HE THINKS he's worth?

We all saw what (doesn't need camp) got LB. last year, he wasn't ready to perform

at 1oo percent until a round the 4th regular season game of the season. Have to be in game shape.

No kidding. That is a well known fact which I stated repeatedly. You totally missed the point. Then you just started replying with random thoughts. Babble.

Why are you asking me? I have no idea what the Redskins are thinking.

It's common sense. Why when the price got higher and higher did they decide to let him go?

I think Cousins wanted out of that circus when his o.c. left. He most likely let them quietly know.
Have not heard any gossip about Bell wanting out of Pittsburgh BUT I fear he wants the spotlight & not play backup bass to Big Ben & A. Brown.

Because you act as if teams wont do right by guys and let them go if they dont ageee on signing the respective player long term for what they are demanding.

He wanted out because they wouldn't sign him long term and basically 2 years in a row said we like you but we dont want to commit to you.

I think you are misinterpreting me. That is not how I feel, which explains why I had no clue what point you were making.

On another note, how did your last semester go? Summer classes?
