Came off as intelligent and with a great attitude...pretty much the anti-Mike Mitchell.

I love that Rome's radio show is now on CBS Sports TV in its entirety, every week day. I DVR it and it's awesome.

That was the best thing that ever happened to Romie. Put him on the map.

I get that his play had totally declined, but do we need to trash the guy?

I plan to jaw off and trash him myself, but first I'm going to go miss a few tackles.

Did you hear what Burnett said about Edmund's? " He going to be a bright young talent in this league." He does seem intelligent doesn't he? :smiley1::cool:

And celebrate an OK hit after they get 15 yards and the 1st down. :lolol:

Weren't there rumors that the entire thing was staged? The story was that Everett planned it out as a way to show he was tougher than people thought and generate buzz for Rome.

Yea, a newly signed vet FA making the PC comment on his new team's 1st round pick. That is an ironclad endorsement!

I'm not sure his play declined - it's more like it was exposed. I don't only care that he stunk, he was also an idiot, with celebrating plays where he makes a tackle after giving up 1st downs. He's a turd.

As opposed to the blistering condemnation of someone with no NFL experience, no standing with the team, no inside info into practice, team meetings or posiRion coaching and still doesn't understand how the team will utilize the player he doesn't like. Pretty sure Burnett''s opinion pc or otherwise wins out here.thanks for playing and enjoy these parting gifts.

If you feel that way, then this board has no purpose, so you may as well just move along. Thanks for playing and enjoy the lack of parting gifts.

My feeling is that A member of the organization and an NFL veteran has more knowledge than I do and I will defer to his opinion on the matter until such time as evidence to the contrary is provided and I can reasses my thoughts on the matter. I feel that attempting to discredit that opinion because it doesn't fit the narrative that particular board member is pushing and pushing rather firmly is wrong.

Thing is, you don't really know the level of expertise of the board members. Some have coaching experience. Some worked in the media. Some have played at the college level. Many, if not most, know enough to contribute something.

Knowledge is one thing, but it doesn't matter without honesty. The NFL veteran probably does know more than most of us, but he's talking about his teammate. Most of the time, that means he's not going to be fully honest. He's going to keep the negative stuff to himself.

Especially after having a couple of weeks of OTAs with him. So yes he has seen him in some action and how he's picking things up. I guess he only has to say that about the 1st Rd. pick that may be in direct competition with him. I expected no other response from you. Save some room for a lot of crow this year.

He is especially well spoken while talking smack after giving up a 15 yard run. SOOO glad he is gone. I just hope he doesn't stand outside my office and start trying to get me to come out and fight.
