Can Bradley step up hadens game at this point in his career? Is this just the thing haden needed a few years ago? How good can he become for us?

Haden's game is pretty solid. Wished we had him sooner. Two things are certain, coach cannot make him faster or younger....

However, I'm sure he'll impart some nuggets of knowledge that could be good tools for a vet to help polish his pattern. Their jobs are to coach em up and get em in the best position to succeed. Haden's been pretty successful to this point and if Bradley gets him and the others to play more cohesively then it's a win win.

You are right about the younger and faster part. As the vet can Bradley make him the leader of this new sub package group? Then do we keep haden around or make that change next year to save the money? This will be a big year to decide on haden and his ability to run the show. We are very young and very new on the back end.

Years past we wouldn’t have played the young and very new because of the mistakes they will invariable make. Last year we still had the mistakes so this year at least we can have young and new learn by playing. But, there will be growing pains. By playoffs, we could okie dokie.

Haden is good player, if he stays healthy. That has been his down fall usually.

That injury he sustained for Pittsburgh this year though was quite unusual.

I am not 100% certain on what Tom Bradley can teach Joe Haden at this point in his career sans the physical abilities he is not getting back.

However, any form of knowledge Joe learns can be passed onto Artie, Cam, Mike and Brian; all who need such knowledge far more than Haden.

Haden is the leader in the secondary. Keeping him around is cheap. The injury as said was unusual. Also Burnett brings vet presence, comes from a franchise that is used to winning. Going to be quite interesting how they use Edmonds. Not saying he is in Troy's or Ryan's level, but, he could be the X factor out of the box playmaker you have to account for. I like the changes made on coaching, big year for Porter I feel. This Defense will be better. A better Defense and a 7th Lombardi will be in the case. Health is the key...

I believe his ceiling is higher than Clark's. Keep in mind that Clark was nowhere near the athlete Edmunds was. Furthermore, Clark was mainly a Free Safety whereas Edmunds can play up to five different positions. In terms of the player though, we will have to see as it is too early to tell with zero tape as Terrell has yet to take a professional snap yet.

Now, being on Troy's level? Right now, I believe it is safe to say he needs to hit the field before we make any pre conceived assumptions. I can say this; much like Troy, both are versatile freaks of nature.

    As do I.

Bradley will see to it as I see it. I believe that the effect Bradley will have in 2018 is what Munchak has had since January 23, 2014.

I'm not worried about what Bradley can do with Haden, I want Bradley to get these young guys to play better and develop.

Part of that is having haden ready to run the show on the field. Lots of new faces to get into the right places during the game. Year 3 burns and Davis. Year 2 sensabaugh, hilton, sutton, Allen and the latter two very little field time. Haden didn't have camp here so he learned on the fly, but also year two but more like one and a half. Burnett, berhe, Edmund's, Allen year 1. Deshaun Phillips was here last year and the rookie from Villanova was added this year. Phillips could push sensabaugh a little. Bradley may help these two the most.

Burnett will be running the show on the field. That is usually the job of a safety and it's a role he took on with the Packers.

Maybe he will but he is new to our defense too. Gay was a big part of helping out when he was here. Since haden missed camp last year the most tenured guys are Davis and burns. At least since these sub packages were being installed and heavily used. Burnett does know the 3-4 since he played under capers. As I said before we are young and new playing this D together.

“They” are young and new. I’m not sure “we” are even in the same zip code.

Burnett needs to learn fast, as does Bostic. That was a big part of why both guys were signed, because they have been defensive signal-callers for their previous teams.

Haden is taking a leadership role and is singing the praises of Tom Bradley. Burnett is making plays albeit in shorts so far. Berhe as well. Good things are going to come from this coaching change. Haden will get better as a result and has said as much when talking about Bradley and his attention to details from and for every player. This unit will be a strength this year. I'm excited to see it.

Its a matter of him being healthy. There was an article posted about how this is his first off season in 5 years w/o a surgery and how he has been able to train. Upcoming season might be his best.
