Having consecutive losing seasons is one aspect that would make me angry.

Drafting the wrong players and building the team just good enough to turn a profit to extort fans for their support is another aspect that would make me jump ship all together.

Each year I grow more and more disgusted with the NFL. I already don't watch the NFL the way I used to. If they keep it up with the nonsensical rules and rule changes, I can easily see a time where I just stop watching. But I will always be a Steeler fan. Tbh my Steeler fandom is the only thing that keeps me watching the NFL.

    1. If they brought in cheerleaders.
    2. If they painted the Steeler logo at mid-field.
    3. If they placed the Steeler's logo on both sides of their helmets.
    4. If they legally changed their name to the "Pittsburgh Squealers".
    5. If they signed Kraperdork.
    6. If they signed Neil O...O....O $&*&^%$ as QB coach.
    7. If they ever run a bubble screen again.
    8. If Hell actually freezes over.

    I'm spent.....................:tequila:

If football either ended or changed so dramatically that it morphed into something else, like rugby, or if ownership became like that of the Pirates. All of those would change the entertainment value and make me tune out because at the end of the day, that's all football really is, entertainment.

Isn't there a concern that could happen? Due to issues surrounding the lease?

If my 5 year old son makes an NFL roster some day and it's not the Steelers. I will then root for that team.

I love my son but I think my kid lacks the genetic gene pool to pull off such a feat, so I think I'm safe.

    But, hey you never now.

My mom and dad each had season tickets until they died. I’m taking that route. Preferably not this season.

If they ever signed a woman and/or transgender player. Anywhere in the NFL for that matter. Sorry, I'm just not that inclusive.

This is where I’m at. I don’t watch or follow the NFL anymore except for the Steelers. And if they keep it up with all the liberal garbage, then I could see being done with the whole dang thing.

I really wonder what a decade of 3-13 to 6-10 seasons would do to the fan base. I suspect the Steelers would still have a good following - hell, the Pirates still had one despite 20 straight years of losing. But I suspect, game day tickets would start to be easy to come by, Steeler fan visibility at road games would be less. If they became a perennially losing team, it would become clear that a sizable fraction of fans were fair weather ones. The die-hardship would still be there, but many would not.

If some loose cannon such as Jurry Jones or the Donald bought the team.
