My thoughts on draft and Steeler football

It is league wide but we have been near or at the top the last couple of years in missed tackles. Not a category you want to be at the top in. Hopefully Bradley helps this.

 

Agreed. But still, but give me players like that and most any scheme works.

 

Are you basing this on game film, or are you still only reading the negatives on scout reports?


By way of comparison, which Steeler is this describing?

• Fabulous edge pass-rusher

• Fast off the edge

• Instincts

• Great pursuit linebacker

• Lives in the backfield

• Constant source of pass pressure

• Consistently produces splash plays

• Excellent at stripping the ball out for forced fumbles

• Skilled at shedding blocks

That's right... Jarvis Jones.

 

Agree with power teams will run right at us. Especially how bad Dupree plays the run. Guys like Fournette and Ajaia will be foaming at their mouths in anticipation to run at Dupree's side.

 

I agree, this year for Dupree is like what Jarvis Jones faced in his last year... I got to say in summary I was not convinced w Dupree after last year... so lets see what happens w Dupree this year... I mean lets face it one of his biggest highlights was a (relatively) late hit on a defenseless QB in Miami, I think Dupree has to show more this coming year or...
