More use of a fullback, especially down by the goal line, which hopefully improves red zone scoring and more no huddle.

I dont expect wholesale changes, window is too short to be revamping things.

Familiarity is great compared to having to learn a new playbook, Ben was talking about retiring with Haley now he wants to play at least three more years. I think Fichtner will energize and unify the offense in ways Haley could not. I think the players will respond to him better, as far as specific playbook changes idk,

I agree it's a great situation. I think it's long overdue. I hope we limit the deep throws on 3rd and short and keep drives alive.

Limit, but not eliminate. Depends on who we are tossing it to. A few years ago this worked very well with Bryant. It didn’t work for crap the year he was out.

I hope we keep more drives alive and get to the red zone where we can employ that FB more and increase the scoring from that area. It takes some pressure off the defense too. I also hope we eliminate the Chinese fire drill that we have seen when we get to the red zone and it becomes a more controlled part of our game.

I expect not to run wide on 4th and 1 against a fast defense .

It means Ben will tell Randy which plays to call. It means Randy's offense will be Ben's offense. Hopefully, no more hissy fits by Ben and a commitment by Ben to actually try to make the play work. This is Ben audition for an offensive coordinator's job after Mason beats him out. :hehehe::roflmao::lolol::rawk::drinks:

I always wanted that when Will Johnson was here but I dont know if that is Nix is game. He did catch a TD last season but I dont know enough about Nix to know if pass catching is a strength.

I think he'll definitely be plowing the road though in short yardage and goal line.

Fitchners offense? You mean Bens puppet. I know ben didn’t like Haley but he kept him healthy. Gun Slinging deep ball throwin Ben will be on the cart early I’m afraid

My biggest fear is Fichtner gives Ben too much control and rekindles the Arians /Ben offense. Couple that with Ben trying to show everyone drafting Rudolph was a mistake.....and it's a recipe for disaster.

Hope he does. Team seems to go right down the field and score when Ben is in the no huddle.

Hopefully more no huddle and two back sets. We now have two backs that can catch.

I hope he uses his offensive stars more than just relying on Bell runs some 30 times a game, up the middle. Especially in the beginning of the season when Bells not in sync with the rest of the team. Just think we need to open up our offense up and use all our offensive talent and not focus so much with Bell runs up the middle. Also mix it up more with other backs to give different looks.

i have to admit I am not a big fan of deep throws on 3rd and short, maybe Baker Mayfield will have better luck
when inside the red zone this year, if given the choice between dumping the ball to the FB or Chinese fire drill, I choose dumping the ball to the FB every time
