    Law dog LAWRENCE TIMMONS! :)

I'm surprised people aren't up in arms about Moats being 30 years old.

I’d be fine with Moats. He isn’t a great player, but he’s okay depth at a shallow position and a good hard locker room guy. Just as long as we sign him one year at a time lol

Timmons isn't coming back unless there's a rash of injuries.

A solid veteran who won't act like a spoiled brat like Harrison did, when he doesn't get the snaps he thinks he should.

Something we can definitely agree on.......Moats is terrible ,if he takes up a roster spot over a younger player with upside....I'm gonna lose my ****...

That's because he doesn't deserve a single snap and he knows it....

Could be... if Moats doesn't find an active role somewhere else, that the Steelers ask him to be a veteran presence during the preseason for the younger players, and then drop him in the last cuts.

Always liked Eli. I would bring him back. We don't have anyone else on the roster like him.

If Moats can beat out the rookies I'd take him back. Nor sure he can.

Moats needs to be put out to pasture already. The only worse signees would be Mike Mitchell and Sean Spence. He is done.

I'm more than OK if Moats does not return. I do like Eli though.

Marcus Tucker was close to making this team last year. I think he could fit that role. We actually have quite a few wrs in camp that may make some noise. Quarter Henderson I think has an inside track though with his return ability. He's pretty special in that role.

Yeah Henderson has a good shot to make the roster.

I'll let the competition play out.

I like Eli alot more than most but tough to say how he will look this year after tearing up his knee.

Always liked Eli. Not sure about that health though.

Would love a vet LB. Not sure Moats or Timmons are the guy though.

If Moats makes this team again our LB Corp is in worse shape than I imagined. If we haven't found a competent replacement for him yet,I really have to question our talent evaluation....I think Tucker has a shot to replace Eli like Mac said.....but the name Quarter " Horse" Henderson has a ring to it....and he's running on a " inside track" ....sign me up:smiley1:

Dagone auto correct. Henderson will get a shot. Eli was quite iffy as a punt returner anyway. I think he is a longshot to make it back here now.

Not to hijack the thread, but the Steelers were foolish not to get James on rushing downs rushing the passer. They could have used him more and made him feel as he was expecting to be used. I think fault lies at both sides for how things ended.
