Official 2018 Draft Day Thread (NO SPOILERS!)

The problem is he offers virtually nothing to help the Steelers in 2018. He might be a pro bowl tackle in 2020.

rd 1 - Edmunds...sub package player in 2018

rd 2 - Washington - will get every chance to play. IMO he replaces ELI for 2018..not Bryant. ....Hunter probably gets the nod to replace Bryant. Thats not to say he will play slot...just his roster spot....I'm guessing JuJu slides into the slot with AB and Washington outside.

rd 3a - Rudolph....again...nothing in 2018...but maybe a solid pick in 2020

rd 3b - Okorafor....2020

I see nothing that will make the 2018 Steelers a better team on opening day.

We need OLB, ILB, DT depth, but by all means let's draft 2 project players who won't help in 2018 .

 

I thought for sure we'd take the Phillips kid from Stanford there. He just went to the Bills. Great pick for them.

 

Hey, maybe the Steelers realize they can't beat NE or Jax, but maybe by 2020 Brady will have retired and Jacksonville will fall into a huge sink hole? It could happen...

Ben is a once in a generation player... do everything you can to win NOW. Im sorry, but Rudolph and Dobbs will never be as good as Ben.

I'm sorry but I'm just not feeling this draft at all. I could usually put a positive spin on some of our picks by now....**** I even had high hopes for Holliman the year we drafted him....to me this draft has a higher possibility of bust then impact...I really hope I'm wrong. The last pick of a OL has me totally lost. So many good players left and we take a project OL....

Isaac Yiadom is a great pick for the Broncos. I'm a Boston College fan and he is an impactful outside CB

We need a QB to replace BigBen. Quality, consistent starting QBs don't just come along any day. (I'm only defending the Mason Rudolph pick... and Terrell Edmunds )
