I've also read his arm lacks the sauce - don't know that I agree, but I've also heard it

I agree. They moved up to take this kid because they saw something they liked. He was drafted to learn from Ben for a season or 2. Dobbs and Jones are not the future, anyone with any sense knows that. The more I read and watch on this kid, the more I like him.

Russell Wilson. Kaepernick was a 2nd. Derek Carr was a 2nd. Dalton was a 2nd. This guy is going to get 3 years to develop.

To be fair. Potential franchise qbs are a bit of an exception. Kevin Colbert feels the same way.

    Not even comparable.

Obviously the rest of the league wasn't as high on Rudolph as I was.

I think he has the tools and most importantly the intangibles to be a star.

He has Peyton Manning level dedication to the game. He really reminds me of Phillip Rivers.

I think being hurt at the Senior Bowl and not being up able to show off there hurt him a bit.

System QB who had success in a gimmicky offense in a league where no one plays defense.

So what, they still need depth to cover injuries. If Bostic gets injured they're in the same boat as 2017 .

We used our 1st round pick on a Safety. None of these guys in the 3rd and later rounds are going to start anyway.

Are people really watching the draft because former players and people we don't give a **** about make the draft calls?

I would definitely be okay taking him at the end of the 3rd.

Mike Hilton has alleviated that pain, fortunately.

When I see Jerry Jones' face, I always seem to get the urge to want to take a dump afterwards.

The thing about QB's more than any other position is that they are the most important and can be used as trade assets as well. Always a potentially extremely valuable pick. I am fine burning a 7th rounder for a QB instead of the usual 1st's and 2nd's teams shell out for "their guy."

    :lolol:

I had both them rated very highly. 2 great players. Can't wait to see that chemistry between them in preseason.

That is true, if Ben gets hurt, now we may have a legit cover for that.

Did you actually watch tape of Oklahoma St when they played out of division?

That's a lazy argument and you know it.
