But that's why you trade up when you have an already stacked team on one side and is just a defensive impact player away from the sb. Our whole defense doesnt even have to be great just needs to be good.

I still think they get lamar. If you look at the rest of the teams unless someone trades up he will still be probably there at 31

We have a 6th round WR who's pretty OK.

He doesn't but we can go defense in the 2nd and with both of our 3rds.

Interesting thing about Reid is he played twice as many snaps at slot corner than safety..yes he's athletic but he not a shoe in to fix our FS woes and we already have a full stable of SS...something to think about.

So then why do teams trade up if they can get great talent in later rounds?

Won't be mad at them if they use one of those 3rds on S Griffen now....

Offense is still the strength of this team, why put the balance further out of whack. ILB is not a play now but S still is.

    1. AB was nowhere near as good as he is now coming out of college. He was not even this good in his second year with us.

    2. Counting on finding that talent in the 6th round is folly. We struck gold with Martavis and let him go for cheap when we need to win now.

    Well, it's down to:

    WR Calvin Ridley

    DT Harrison Phillips

    TE Hayden Hurst

    S Jessie Bates

    CB Josh Jackson

I do agree we will make the playoffs. We have 3 top 15 players in the nfl and an elite player at the most important position. But sb is not a reality rn.

Dude, I don't want to argue with you on draft day. We almost never trade up and our drafts are consistently better than other teams.

I think we got rid of Bryant because there was no place for him here long term. He has delusions of grandeur and thinks he can be a #1 receiver somewhere else. I disliked his uneven effort. Sometimes he seemed disinterested, other times he would step up. With Brown and now Ju Ju preferred by Ben over him, he would never be satisfied here. I`m happy with the move.
